Well done mate. I'm certain these long runs will be the most important thing to get you ready for an ultra. Just getting used to how it feels when you've been running for hours with more hours to go really makes a difference on the day. It's still hard to be ready for the struggle in the second half, but with a good mindset you'll battle through 💪
"I don't know where I am" ...I love that feeling on long runs. When you're kind of lost and just don't really care
It’s the best mate. Love the long trail runs.

Thanks a lot, Mark. I hope your legs aren’t too bad today after that great effort yesterday!
Great to hear your plans to race less, enjoy more, and get the training under your belt! Lovely countryside, and I agree re dog fear :)
Cheers Andrew, it was a lovely area to run. I’m actually really looking forward to taking a break to concentrate on getting better… hopefully.
Happy days mate, you will smash it, great video,
Cheers Sean. You’ve probably seen most of that trail but we can do it together at some point 👍🏼
You should be proud of everything you’ve achieved mate! It can be tough when you try new plans and they dont work, your a great runner 👊
Cheers buddy that’s much appreciated! I hope your legs aren’t too sore from your efforts on the weekend! Great effort
@@StevoRuns legs aren’t to bad now, picked up a few blisters which is annoying. Resting this week, letting the body recover 🙂
