The PFD and FMC is just taken from the -8 and I’m not even gonna talk about the sounds….. (also the MCP is not even analog like in the real world, they just took it from the -8 I like how they even said “we worked with Boeing to get *all* of the details right”, I’m also pretty sure that they took all of the screens from the -8 which is very disappointing)one last thing, the VNAV descent is just as shit as the msfs2020 one, and I doubt that they fixed the localiser-capturing problems where the airplane goes left and right “trying” to capture the localiser……
13:30 So I think without the auto start switch it means you have to start manually like you have to wait until it's 20% N2. And for the engines it does not sound like Pratt and Whitney engines, so you have to get the sound pack from FTsim.
I’m impressed the latches (or whatever is fastening the door to the hull) is strong enough to hold the door when it is fully open. That has to cause a ton of stress to them
The 400's certainly need some updates (which I have no doubt will happen), but the anticipation for PMDG's 400 has never been higher. Thanks for the video.
20:40 i had this issue with the A400 here the other day, i probably forgot a switch, but what i ended up doing since i have rudder pedals, i just bound whats normaly rudder on my TCA sidestick to me nosewheel in all aircrafts, so even if i fly boeing i just have it on the side for taxi
Given how much they hyped these premium planes up, the quality is pretty poor in my view. They are not payware quality. The iniBuilds ones are great, but basically all the Boeings are average to below average, with terrible sounds, modelling issues, copy and pasted systems etc. The 787 and 747-8 are the only half decent ones, but even they could do with some enhancements. At least we have people like Horizon Sim and Kuro who are doing some good things with them, but I don't think PMDG are going to be losing any business due to 2024, put it that way.
i would still recommend it. for easier (and more extensive) flight planning plus you always have the latest airac cycle for all your aircraft, not just the standart ones that come with the sim. addons like the fenix and pmdg dont update the navdata through the sim updates (if they update the cycles with the sim updates) but only through navigraph. so if you have any of those, i would say stick to navigraph
IMO the included LIDO chsrts are better than the Navigraph ones. Also flightplanning is made easier thsn with Navigraph. Let's hope that also PMDG and Fenix will finally switch to the default Airac cycle, because there is really no need any more to stick with Navigraph.
@@FTStratLP agree to disagree. it is totally up to you whether you prefer the LIDO charts in the sim (is personally do like both) or the Jeppessen that come with Navigraph. when it comes to flightplanning i will have to disagree with you. the flightplanner that comes with the new sim is really not easier than simbrief (which is part of navigraph). with the new flightplanner you have to create it all by yourself. choose your SID, set all the waypoints and airways, choose your STAR and transition and on top of that you have to figure out the weights all by yourself PLUS you dont have a propper OFP to work with. with simbrief you just have to choose your callsign, departure and arrival airport and your aircraft and just like that you´re good to go. you dont have to choose any SIDs, waypoints, airways, STARs or transitions and you dont have to figure out how much fuel you need for your flight. no to mention, you have your OFP to properly work through your flight and make it as realistic as possible. for twin engine ocean crossings you also get to set up your ETOPS scenario which the in-sim flightplanner doesnt let you do. and last but certainly not least, flying on a network. if you use the ingame planner you have to put in everything yourself to file your flightplan. with simbrief? just click on the icon of your network (for example the VATSIM icon) and it prefiles it and you just have to send it out. so no, the ingame planner is not easier than to use simbrief/navigraph. only if you reffer to the flight planning in the navigraph charts app, then i would agree with you. so no, it is still recommendable to keep your navigraph subscription even tho fs24 has charts and a (VERY simplified) flight planner itself
I think you have to download or enable them separately in the content manager? I don't have 2024 yet, but I'm pretty sure I remember someone saying that on a day one live stream
The marketplace for 2024 does not work yet, so there is no content manager. The lack of a content manager has led to some issues where default 2020 adobo scenery has caused 2024 to crash.
I didn’t pre-order the premium deluxe edition like I did in 2020 because I had a bad feeling about it. I thought it would be just like the 2020 one, which was a total letdown. But now, I’m totally craving an upgrade!
I have no interest in flying this plane, I can't operate it anyway. But since I am a VR user, I will open that Cargo door and have a walk, I bet it will be quite impressive.
Yes in Brisbane which is my home airport I see Kangaroos roaming around like they live at the airport, absolutely stupid, I take offense although not so sure about other countries
If I would be paid by MS TH-cam would legally require me to disclose that. As you can see in the video description I did receive a free copy of the sim, but that’s it. You’re welcome to ask Microsoft/Asobo or their agency about it, I hereby give them full clearance to freely talk about our relation to anyone who asks. The agency they used to contact me and issue my copy is called FAKTOR 3 AG and you’re welcome to ask them about the exact conditions. From my side they’re free to talk about them as they like. I have nothing to hide ;-) In short the deal was: „Here’s a free copy, do with it as you like. We do not require any type or kind of content, positive or negative. Give an honest review, even if it is negative.“

24:50 Cow strike...now that's a first...
😂😂😂
Bird strikes are real, but damn sheep strikes.....that would create a mess for both the animal and the plane 🤣
Eagerly waiting for them to un-encrypt the planes for us so we can at least replace those disgusting sounds.
@@lordmashie this comment makes no sense at all
@@A2_FIT yes it does?
and so we can get a normal 747-400 variant
It makes perfect sense. 90% of the game can't be modded because of Asobo and their communism.

Indeed, those must hold an enormous amount of stress! Same when the rudder is used to decrab the plane.
I went to Nagoya few months ago and saw the Dreamlifter parked there
Ewwww it still has the very unrealistic Asobo V1 sound. What do you think of the inibuilds a350 releasing in 2025?
The 400's certainly need some updates (which I have no doubt will happen), but the anticipation for PMDG's 400 has never been higher.

Yeah, PMDG and iFly have nothing to worry about that’s for sure 😂
It was not only a horde of sheep, but also the sheep hoarder was there!
Do we still need navigraph when such a great system is available onboard within the EFB?

Is their a way to upgrade your msfs 2024 from standard to premium so I can get the 787 and dreamlifter?
How do you have premium deluxe content? I bought premium deluxe and still only have standard planes.

It took a day or two for me to have all Premium Deluxe aircrafts available.

standard version is the best for msfs2024
idk if the marketplace is already opened but when it is you should be able to buy the addons from the higher versions in there

dont lol game is still shit...wait about a year..trust me..2020 is still wayyyyy better

The Beluga is somehow interesting but this is just ugly but takes all sorts. Thx for video.
Welcome to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport! Thank you for your support of ACO Design RCTP😊😊😊
Looks like a fun plane to fly.
there is something very wrong with the window frames thickness in all of the 747 variants in fs2024, absolutely awful mistake very unrealistic

the whole plane sound is so boring and not good, so happy we have pmdg and msfs 2020.. but very good video as always :)
I always imagine to wear an ANR headset, then it doesn’t make any difference anymore.
