Loved watching this guy compete. He always looked tired but never stopped pushing during the match won a ton on being tougher than that guys he wrestled. He was not typical Ok St in regard to style he just took shots and worked his way to the finish.
Johnny Thompson had a unique combination of power and slickness. Most wrestlers are one or the other but he could flow from each one where the match needed.
nice compilation. I heard the weight cut by his senior year was getting to him. I recall him having much more closer matches as the year went on. still did great but didn't have quite enough to win this 3rd straight; no hate by any stretch, still took 3rd that year.
