Yeah, she has it all: passion for language and language teaching, charm, and respect for her students and audience (i.e., us) - she never dumbs it down but introduces the key vocabulary and patterns with just enough explanation.
Grace, you are the best. Thanks for not speaking slowly and thanks for not always using the subject pronouns “chan” and “pom”. We Thai learners need to hear how the language REALLY sounds. Thank you for speaking NATURALLY! I’ve been practicing with your video lessons a lot and it’s really helping my listening, pronunciation, and speaking. Even though the video is only 4:47, there is really several hours of material here. I’ve learned how to use “A keu/gap B meuan gan” and “tuk kon”and other “Real Thai” expressions. I’m also a teacher and a language geek (though not nearly as multi lingual as you”) and I really appreciate you respecting the language and sharing real spoken Thai with your audience. Thank you very much! いつもありがと! lmuchas gracias, profesora! 정말고마워요! ขอบคุณมาก!
อาหารเสร็จแล้ว = means the food is finished cooking (ทำเสร็จแล้ว) อาหารพร้อมแล้ว = is the food is ready อาหารหมดแล้ว = is the food is finished (meaning no more, we eat it all) หมดแล้ว is always used to say finished as in ranout, no more.
Thank you, Grace, wonderful lesson. Is using ในปัจจุบันนี้ instead of เดี๋ยวนี้ (for nowadays) odd or not as native sounding as the latter? Have a great weekend 😀🙏
hello thankyou! :) It's like saying "in this era", you can use it when talking about something more serious. Also it can not be used as often as DIEWNEE.
As I'm Thai, using the phrase "ในปัจจุบันนี้" it often use in terms of formal writing like academic writing. Thai native will not say it at all in daily life. "เดี๋ยวนี้" is the phrase that we use to say in daily life.
The closest equivalent in the Malay language would be "Nanti". Nanti² = เดี๋ยวๆ/Wait². Cepat² la, nanti lambat le= รีบๆนะ/เร็วๆสิ, เดี๋ยวงจะสายจ้า.. Jangan nakal ya, nanti kena pukul = อย่าเกเรนะ, เดี๋ยวถูกตี🤣🤣🤣/ don't be naughty, else (soon) you'll be hit😱😱🤣🤣
คนเดียว means alone. like I go home alone. It's used really often. เดี่ยว also means คนเดียว I see it more in news article, writing, etc. In sports it's used as single as oppose to double which is คู่. It's a little harder to use when speaking So just use คนเดียว when speaking and know that เดี่ยว means คนเดียว
Zeer interessant, maar voor mij als Belg is dit te snel. Ik moet mij op 2 talen concentreren. Engels en Thais. Ik kan niet bijde zo snel lezen luisteren en begrijpen. Ik spreek Nederlands. Jammer. Maar ik kan niet volgen.
Ok, just a little tip from a teacher. SLOW DOWN! Keep doing what you are doing, but slow it down, and then break down the sentence into pieces and explain any nuances of pronunciation, context, tones, rising, falling etc. Explain exactly the translation of each part of the sentence from Thai to English You have good communication skills, just work on your lesson structure a bit more ❤

She really is

Great lesson, Grace. You're a natural teacher. I like the pretend dialogues with your left and right selves.

Thanks
useful lesson. thanks
Thank you Grace
Love your lesson😊
Awesome lesson!
Oi professora. Sou do Brasil.
At 2:27 can we say อาหารพร้อมแล้ว? To my knowledge, อาหารเสร็จแล้ว means ‘the food is finished.’
อาหารเสร็จแล้ว = means the food is finished cooking (ทำเสร็จแล้ว)
อาหารพร้อมแล้ว = is the food is ready
อาหารหมดแล้ว = is the food is finished (meaning no more, we eat it all) หมดแล้ว is always used to say finished as in ranout, no more.
ขอบคุณครับ ได้ยินบ่อยๆ แต่ต้องพูดให้มากกว่านี้ ไม่รู้ตัวอย่างสุดท้าย
👍🙏

ครูทำให้วีดีโอเกี่ยวกับคำหลายๆ กับ "ใจ" ได้หน่อยนะครับ
Bien, je n'ai pas tout compris. Mais bien.
ขอบคุณนะคะ เดี๋ยวเกอซพอจะอธิบายหน่อยได้มั้ย ว่าวิธีใช้คำว่า ’สักเดี๋ยว’
สักเดี๋ยว is like saying "a little while" it's like saying สักแป็บนึง. I don't know why I never use sakdiew before. I always use sakpepneung.
Khruu Grace kha! Conversation at hospital. Please 🙏🥺
good idea.
like a pretend one or just sentences or what do you think
😊❤

ah yes. cool
What really confused me is the other similar word(s) ... เดี่ยว and เดียว which both mean alone, single, same ... ??
คนเดียว means alone. like I go home alone. It's used really often.
เดี่ยว also means คนเดียว I see it more in news article, writing, etc. In sports it's used as single as oppose to double which is คู่. It's a little harder to use when speaking
