Thai With Grace
Thailand
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 24 ก.ย. 2021
This channel is all about learning Thai in an enjoyable manner.
I have content for all learners (beginners, intermediate, and advanced). Intermediate learners and advanced students can listen to spoken Thai and learn useful patterns. Beginners can also learn while reading the subtitles and learn from many examples.
All my videos are taught using Thai instead of through English so that you can get used to listening to Thai. The important part is I include Thai and English subtitles for all my videos. So if you don't understand something, you'll always be able to read the subtitles.
Making the subtitles for all my videos is hard work as I manually do it to make sure it's correct. So if you enjoy my content and want to support me, consider joining my Patreon: www.patreon.com/polyglotgrace and also get some extra learning materials at the same time.
You can also send me a virtual tip through www.buymeacoffee.com/thaiwithgrace or paypal: atmanx5@gmail.com

Hi Grace, I have just come across these stories. They are great for learning. Perfect pace so I can listen, read, write and perfect my tones too. Thank you. Great videos.
It is one of the best chanel to study Thai language
Had to keep pausing the video, i couldn't keep up😂
Speak too fast
Thank you for teaching
Thank you. Keep it up!
Side note. On your great Ap the word นี née (this or here) is missing. Seems like a very basic word used alone and combined with words like wan nee, etc. also Another. .. I hear the word waa used so much in Thai but can never figure out what it means. Finally the word used for “really” at the end of many sentences sounds like laww but not sure the Thai spelling. Anyway not complaining just maybe think about adding these words if you can. 💙👍
Another excellent lesson to send to my (Thai, living in England) son ! Thanks Grace.
Sawasdee khrap Grace, khob khun maak for these videos. They’re so so helpful 🙏
Hi, Which pronunciation guide system do you use?
hi do you mean for the transliteration? if so, I like www.thai2english.com/

Hello, what different between น่าจะ and อาจจะ ? Thank you in advance
hey, I have a video on that here: th-cam.com/video/HN3a2JJAgfQ/w-d-xo.html to me the difference is อาจจะ is maybe while น่าจะ is probably (like more possibility than maybe)
Great video, you are the best Grace, thanksss!!!

Excellent lesson as always. Thank you so much.

I like your Slow Thai series. Thank you.
It’s supposed to be $79 but when I went to pay it was $118 so I cancelled. 😮
hey its $79 in usd.
thank you Grace, purchased. do you have any recommendations as to how many minutes per day people should study? or, how many minutes per day/sessions per day would you do if you were learning via the course?
Grace, lesson 3 quiz, i think theres an error. answer correctly "ชอบกินชีสไหม" . The only one that made sense to me was "ชอบ" which was wrong? I then went back and selected both other answers and they all show as wrong, at least im sure i did. there isnt a way to see which answers i incorrectly selected.
Hello, My recommendation is: For the lesson videos, when I ask you questions or ask you to make your own sentences, pause the video, and try to do it on your own first. Don't just listen passively. For the comprehensible video, listen to each video with the subtitles, the without the subtitles as many times as you need until it gets easy. Regarding minutes per day, as much as your brain can absorb. The more doesn't mean the better - if you are just listening passively. I think at least 30 minutes focused session each day
Hey the correct answers are these 2 - ชอบ (chop) - ค่ะ ชอบกินค่ะ (ka chop gin ka) Regarding it not giving the answers, unfortunately, the platform I use doesn't let me do that but this week I am going to find a way to add the answers somewhere so students can check.
@@thaiwithgrace9231 Oh, that makes sense. i selected only one option on each 3 tries so it was wrong because i didnt pick the two correct ones together. I expected "ka chop gin ka" to need to be "ka chop gin cheet ka" for it to be correct, so was a bit confused. Must keep practicing :). thank you Grace.
@@thaiwithgrace9231 Thank you Grace!
It would be amazing to have such a course but with Thai script instead
Hi, in the lesson videos, I don't use thai script but in the video descriptions I have the Thai. In the future when I make a more advanced/intermediate course, it will be in all Thai script.
แม่อ่อนโยนมาก
I want to learn thai more
Great lesson and happy I discovered this channel. I agree with the others: conducting the lesson in Thai is very helpful! ^^ I’ll give a couple of other words that may be useful for others. นำ is to bring for animals and objects. Example: ผมนำผ้าไปซัก - I took my clothes to be washed. พก is for bring/taking an object in your possession, maybe hidden. Example: เขาพกมีดมา -He brought a knife. เอา is only used with people if you’re being rude/ very casual: Example: เอาตัวมันไปเข้คุก - Put him in jail. Hope that help!
Very good video and perfect for praticing Thiai :-)
The discount code is not working
Hey it expired December 1st ☹️
Can you make an anki deck to go with the course or to do after each chapter?
Hi Ricky, Good idea, If I see more requests for this I'll add an anki deck. Do you mean like for the sentences or the vocabs?
Yaa leum na Sukaphap bpen sing tee samkarn tee sut🙏

very useful script it should be much more things to learn in the house, looking forward...
Your videos are incredibly good.
Needs to slow down a bit much to fast

@@thaiwithgrace9231 I ordered your course and I see my payment with my bank is pending. Once cleared by my bank I expect you to send me a link to download and access the course?
Is READING Thai required, or at least recommended for your course? Or is it optional? How hard it would be to use only video/audio of your course (and possibly reading the English part as a guide)? Because I don't want to invest time/effort to reading just yet, I would like to focus on LISTENING FIRST, and reading transcription is said to lead to farang accent.
Reading Thai is NOT required to take the course. Listening, understanding, and learning to speak/construct sentences is the MAIN FOCUS of the course. Knowing how to read will help with differentiating vowel sounds that doesn't exist in English. HOWEVER, its very important to know that even if you know how to read already, that doesn't mean that you can pronounce like a Thai person. To pronounce like a Thai person you have to listen a and imitate the sound. If you haven't seen the preview of the course, here is it polyglotgrace.podia.com/view/courses/beginner-thai-course-a0-a2/2795929-a0-complete-beginner/8893114-lesson-1-my-name-is-grace-i-am-thai-what-is-your-nationality-i-am-not-thai . I also talked about what I think about transliteration and also explain how the course is structured. You can see the first two lessons for free.
