Nice job Anthony! Exhaust repair is becoming a lost art. The 1994 and and later models are SAABs in name only. Those generation cars are based on European Opel platforms. Once GM assumed full ownership I knew the end was nigh. The first generation SAAB 900 (79-93 94 Convertible) had sectioned exhausts where individual pieces could be replaced. The fuel and brake lines were run on top of the floor board inside the passenger compartment where they were protected from the elements.
On my project, purchased as a failed tech school project the exhaust was butchered. The performance shop asked me to if possible locate a parts car. I found a parts car that spent its entire life here in Texas with a very nice original exhaust system.
