I received this Exped SynMat UL7 sleeping pad for Christmas (2014) from my wife (so yes, she paid for it, and I am not being paid to review it). Since then I have used it several times and felt it was time to do a review on it. I go over a list of pro's & cons, as well as some things that I felt was important to take note of (which did not fall under either a pro or a con). These are my thoughts on the SynMat UL7 pad, and how I feel it stacks up to it's direct competitor, the Thermarest NeoAir XLite...
