This reminds me of: My mother worked in a supermarket in the 60s where a German butcher killed his wife with a butcher's knife in her bed. Eek! BTW, it is not "cold as a witch's hide." It is another part of the witch's anatomy.
Ooh, serious chills at the end! The story is told with such emotion, as if it was happening to him again... very scary, & very good!
