I will never understand anybody wanting to vote for someone who lets in over 11 million illegals, causes two wars, wants to significantly raise your taxes, let Trump tax cuts expire after 2025, raise the corporate tax rate to 28% from 21%, when 58% of the population in the United States owns stocks.
09-18-24 Listening from Southern Ontario, Canada, at 43* N. Considering this was written in 1981, it shows that man has always been thinking, or dreaming, of what the future might bring. A good number of people now fear what the coming years will bring. I remember a science fiction short story from Issac Asimov about a future where only certain people were born with the ability to dream, and most of mankind couldn’t dream at all. Society would hire the young people to dream, which could be “collected”, much like recording voices on cylinders in our past, and then people could come in, ask to be involved with a dream of their choice, pay and live vicariously through it. They called them “Dreamies”.The people would really feel like they were living the dreams themselves: the smells, the emotions, etc. I think good writers, like Sam Dann, always “kept their ear 🦻to the ground.” Hope all sleep well tonight, and dream sweet dreams (while we still can ).🙏❤🫠
