To both doctors Ibrahim & Ibreez....can't thank you enough for these extremely helpful videos and articles. Keep up the brilliant work...I know it's not easy but may Allah ta'ala bless you guys abundantly. Ameen
Hello guys..big thanks to your efforts !! The efforts u guys put out in making these are literally GOLD DUST for IMG's like myself ! Big thanks you u both once again..! Wanted to request you to and would appreciate big time if u could give an insight on clinical oncology training in UK and the possible routes of entry.
Loved this video. I was planning to use USMLE for GMC but the only thing that was stopping me was the duration of training required for Cardology, specifically for interventional and heart failure. As it turns out, the time required in both the US and UK is comparable (6 vs 6). I was searching youtube for any videos that might give me a practical approach towards my cardiology training goal. I can see all the effort that went into this video. So, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
This is not just a video, this is the interpretation of my dreams, the purpose of life, my every breath is waiting for it. Hoping to Be the Renowned Cardiologist and will be Working as Consultant in UK's Hospitals... Hello dear Dr Ibrahim and Dr Ibreez and thanks for all the effort. I want to ask a question about the possible paths for someone who is already a consultant cardiologist in their home country to become a cardiologist in the UK? And is it possible for them to do advanced fellowships (interventional cardiology for instance) without having a Uk CCT in cardiology. Thanks and Allah bless you
Your first concern would be about how you would get GMC registration. The rest can be looked into quite easily but the biggest hurdle would be registration itself.
Can you guys please make a similar video on the path to enter Endocrinology training in the UK for an IMG who already has completed Internal Medicine training in her/his home country?
Hi Ibrahim, can u plz make a video on how to get in cardiosurgery after doing plab?? Plz plz make a complete detailed video on this. I really really need it🥺🥺
Hello . U guys are doing a wonderful job. I am an IMG I have completed 2 years of general medicine residency and also done 2 years of general cardiology training, currently in 3rd year of cardiology training, can i get UK cardiology training if yes then will i have to start from year 1 or can i start from year 3 ?
If you'd want to start cardiology training, you would need to first prove the alternative competencies. Otherwise you have to do internal medicine training in the UK. Please see: th-cam.com/video/Lr-ufHzD6WI/w-d-xo.html
Hello Ibrahim and ibreez😊. Thank you so much for all the videos. Can I quickly crosscheck whether we can claim the same points for ST3 after using the same for getting a CT1 training post as the requirement seems more or less same for both ? What are the pros and cons? Thank you!!!!
Assalamu Alaykum. Thank you so much for the elaborate explanation on this topic. Have been searching for this video for a long time. If you don't mind, I have a question. Can you please tell me, is it helpful completing MRCP part 1 or 2 before applying training or non training job? Do they make any difference? Or is it all the same?
Hello, I'm a 1st year Post-Graduate in MS Orthopaedics. I plan to work as a doctor in the UK,after completing my PG in MS Orthopaedics. I have come across various routes of getting into the UK system to practice as a doctor(in my case a Orthopaedic surgeon) One such pathway is: CESR-CP Foundation Training Core Training Higher surgical training If all the criteria required by the GMC for an internship has been fulfilled by me, can I skip the foundation training for 12months, via this route to apply to become a consultant doctor starting from Core Training directly?
Thank you for enlightening us on various aspects of plab pathway through your videos. Can you let me know how can I get the paper work done regarding leadership roles that I had during my medschool. Is there any form or something?
Difficulty is relative. Many have gotten it signed, but you need to be proactive and make sure the consultant who you will have sign it knows from day one what you are working towards.

Hi ibreez. Is there an experience limit to applying for cardiology st3? For example if you've worked as cardiology st1 equivalent for two years can you still apply for cardiology st3 training post?
Sir , how many exams do we have during this time period . Will those exams be MCQ kind or theory written kind . Could you please share infos about the medical exams during core level training and stuffs

During IMT you must clear MRCP. During specialty training, there is a specialty specific exam.
Can we apply for CESR pathway into cardiology training
Yes.
Is there any overqualification eg, 18 months of experiences?
No.
Amazing video! Very informative! Can you please make a video for Dermatology training? Please 🙏
Thank you! Will do!
So how long does it take in total?
can someone who has done MRCEM outside the UK apply for IMT in the UK without MRCP or is it advisable to do MRCP and then apply for IMT?
They can apply.
Hello I am a resident in cardiology wishing to move to England later pls what route is suitable please
