I am mad I filed for this crap a couple of days before they ruled it unconstitutional. I hope their is a class action for all of the people that Fincen threatened and coerced into doing this with their fines.
Yes but this isn’t about getting info. It’s about penalizing those who never heard of this law. They will be getting hundreds of millions of dollars from millions of businesses who have no idea they need to file. They’ll also be throwing some in prison for slave labor.
In addition to what JohnSmith-ns6dp said, it’s also about discouraging any kind of independence. The federal government HATES any kind of freedom. It does not want you to own a business and be financially independent. It wants you working a salaried job (no pay for overtime work) with your health insurance tied to your job. It wants you renting or owing on a mortgage. It wants you tied to a physical location, trapped “in the system.” Creating this “crime” of not filing a BOI report allows the feds to shut down thousands of independent businesses. Again, the ultimate goal is to force everyone into wage slavery.

Is the filing technically public or private? Exactly which institutions will have access to the data? FBI? IRS? Treasury? Are court orders required to access the files? How will the files be stored? What happens if the files are stolen?
What do you do in the case that you are a single member LLC and you have no other beneficiaries other than yourself and you’re required to provide two beneficiaries on the application and not able to move forward do you just put yourself twice on the beneficiary if they allow that or are you even required to file if you’re a single member And you’re the only beneficiary of all subjects noted

No, you have to file for each LLC seperately.
