Very helpful. I've been doing real estate closings for 20 years and I've never had to deal with FIRPTA withholding. I do now. What if there are two sellers and only one is subject to FIRPTA? Is the withholding based on their portion of the proceeds or just based on the sale price?

What if the CPA submitted the BOI report and subsequently stopped practicing as a CPA, so we are unable to contact them Will Fin. Cen.verify that the BOI information has been filed if we enter the EIN and beneficial owners for the LLC for a second time?

What if the beneficial owner is a corporation or LLC? do you enter the entity name in the beneficial owner section?

Hi , how can I pay for the form 540 online? I submitted my payment online for both state and federal. However I just received a check from them of $208 which is the one payment that was supposed to be for form 540. So I’m wondering why they did not apply it to towards that balance due.
