    Paul McCartney will go down as one of the greatest musicians and composers in the history of music. 100 years or even 500 years from now they will be amazed at his wealth of talent he shared. I, for one, feel so lucky to have lived during this time and will always treasure seeing him perform live. Thank you Paul McCartney for enriching all our lives.

      Paul McCartney a British agent and an imposter. He is not left-handed, he's not a musician, he's not a composer (he's proved that repeatedly).

    “High above this overcrowded place
    A little blackbird flies through space
    And all he does
    Is search for love
    Love is all that matters in the end
    Whatever time I have to spend
    Will be with you
    Forever true
    Love is the oldest
    Secret of the universe
    Warm as the sun
    On two iridescent lovers
    When they discover
    That now
    Is all we ever really know
    The past and future come and go
    Because they do
    I'll stay with you.
    The past and future come and go
    Because they do
    I'll stay with you”

      @@dyanapomp like? Mozarts way of making music is the exact opposite of Pauls. There were a lot of "rules" back in the classical era when composing. Paul avoided these rules because he didnt like them. That is an artistic choice and says nothing about quality. So saying mozart and paul are similair doesnt make sense. In what way are they similair? Theyre both humans?

      It's impossible to tell what he has really produced because the Beatles and all their art is the creation of a Government intel think-tank know as Tavistock Corp. Theodore Adorno wrote all the songs, at least initially. When Billy Shears replaced the original Paul in '66, the songs got a little more sophisticated, but we don't know that Faux Paul created anything artistic in his whole life. I believe that his orchestra works are really his because they are terrible (student-level compositions).

    But Mozart wrote what was considered "popular music" in the era. His work was for the masses not for the elite , albeit with clever construction like the famous pandiationic clusters of "This Boy" and "Aeolian cadence" of "Not a Second Time" Yes Mozart probably KNEW he was using the formula , McCartney did NOT. but still there it is.

    I think you can´t compare Mccartney with Mozart in any way. Of course Mozart is better musician than Mccartney, he had more technique than him, but Mccartney is more than a composer or a bass, guitar, piano player (and another instruments too). He plays his songs, he sings, so he can (and he does) play all of his songs, and all of his band´s instruments. The point is that Mccartney can do things that Mozart couldn´t, but I´m not saying that he is better than Amadeus, but they are very different

  • @mickavellian
    @mickavellian 11 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Calling Mozart a "classical" composer based on epoch is flat out WRONG. Mozart was the POP star of his time but no one has HEARD Mozart mostly myths of his genius which lacks "libretti". You have partitures which everyone who performs, ads their own little nuisances. Mozarts magic was his "popular" sound the common people"easy listening" with very clever melodic variations. Sounds like McCartney doesnt it? Mozart wrote 600 pieces (supposedly he never wrote drafts) while Paul is up to 700+

  • @LCPD9111
    @LCPD9111 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    ***** Cylinder recording was invented in 1866. Mozart had been worm food for a long time before that. So had THOUSANDS of other great composers, performers, - and scientists, statesmen, etc. We know these people by their achievements. Libretti for MOST composers of vocal works were written by a poet or other author. Would you throw out every Mass ever written, because the text was not original? How about every operatic depiction of every great work of dramatic literature?

    This is very nice music. But the question that needs to be asked is how much of this is McCartney and how much is Richard Rodney Bennet, or some other classically trained composer who turned McCartney's tunes into this? McCartney, rather than relying on classically trained composers to turn his songs into classical works should have done his homework and learned music theory. Then he could have written classical music that is genuinely his own. If he had wanted to put forth the effort, he could have hired private tutors to teach him this. Apparently he did not even want to put forth the small amount of effort it takes to read musical notation.

      learning to writte and read music pass a certain age is pointless you ear become so good that most score i find just listening to them. writting down music now can be done with midi. and just little cleaning has to be done in order to making it a score.

    • @rolandbuck4005
      @rolandbuck4005 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      That may work for a single melody, but this clearly includes more than a melody, since it also includes harmony. To harmonize the melody with anything than the most primitive harmony requires a knowledge of music theory. It is an interesting question whether the rich harmony is from Lennon or Richard Rodney Bennet or some other arranger. Even composers like Mozart did not get their harmony (or counterpoint) purely from instinct and had formal training in the subject.

    • @Colosphonium
      @Colosphonium 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +Roland Buck I don't agree at all. McCartney harmony can be heard on many of its tune simply on piano voice guitar. Harmony doesn't change cause you have a 50 pieces orchestra...you just divide up the basic one upon instrument group. McCartney has always had a keen harmonic and melodic senses. ..this is is music. anyone that study harmony can harmonize a great melody...but not everyone that study music can come up with a yesterday or here there and everywhere....which you should listen to see some complex chord structure and beautiful harmony Paul written it with Lennon. .and nobody help. you seem to be frustrated with people that have natural talent out of instinct...Andre you a academic who don't have inspiration?

    • @strathman7501
      @strathman7501 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Lennon? What are you smoking? He'd been dead for about 18 years, they'd barely spoken for a decade even then, and Lennon's music theory was even weaker than McCartney's. As the man said, you can watch the documentary to get good idea of how this was turned into a playable score from Paul's computer-written draft score, and you can hear Richard Rodney Bennet and David Matthews themselves tell you the strict limits of their input and how much they admire McCartney's work. You'd realise his harmonic intuition, production and arrangement skill if you knew much of his pop oeuvre, too. He has always had excellent understanding of orchestral instrumentation since the Beatles. Go read George Martin on that score.

    Paul McCartney is simply unable to write down a single note of music, he knows nothing about harmony, counterpoint, instrumentation or orchestration. He is a mere pop-music empirist. Just as in the case of Gershwin - who would play his 'tunes' on the piano and Joffe would turn them in elaborate, modulating orchestral music - or the Beatles - George Martin he would do the real job -, asserting that McCartney 'wrote' this piece is fairy-tale. Evidently there was one or more highly educated shadow composers to give shape to a few vague ideas he might have had. It's a long way from Hey Jude to mastering music.

      Dude...he used a music composition program on a computer to write this thing...entirely because he knew he could fiddle with notes on a keyboard and then listen to how it would sound with the specific instrumentation. He played to his strengths and covered for his weaknesses...and he wrote Standing Stone that way. It was well documented. You just have to watch the BBC documentary about it.
