- chipmunk aka john moralee jeremy goodchild and swales forrest ( "The Queen of the fairground") on the set of the chaz n dave xmas show in the 1980's. invited as "extras" were delighted to find behind the tv built bar a great mate of jeremys from brighton who provided them with copius amounts of free beer throughout the whole show. For Tv it must have been a first , Real booze on the set! Chaz n Daves family and friends all got stuck in and a wonderfull party ensued. The director let it flow literaly and a wonderfull london style party just happened. It was the no 1 christmas night show and had millions of viewers. guests included
jim davidson, eric clapton!! peters and lee and loads of others. a great night with chaz diping into his bottle of brandy every now and then hidden under the piano. bloody great.!!
Pure boogie rock from Clapton! I wish the man would do a whole album of fun rockin little tunes like this.
Yeah Slowhand missed a chance to do a good timey Chas Dave Albert Lee pub rock album but instead went full tilt into Phil Collins glossy pop...get back to the music hall Eric!

Very stylish guitarist with good song. His guitar weeps in tears in heaven, sings in "wonderful to night . Some folks wrote JH jammed him without knowing what is guitar . This man is unparalleled in his style with voice of blues. He is the only guiraist who palyed with everybody from Lennon to Knofler, BB, Freddi kings , winwood, paul, Harrison, Gray and so on, on. Highly accomodative as he is great individual and great team player. Long live Clapton .

Love Clapton here...his last great studio album and tour....Money and Cigarettes....with Albert Lee.....I despised his commercial sellout at the hands of top 40 schlockmeister Phil Collins....the 80's haircuts...the suits dressed up like a half assed Robert Palmer...that hideous cheesy 80's synth sound....loved him from 1970 -83 the most....From the Cradle was a welcome relief....throwback...

Those are fantastic albums....Clapton was influenced by those guys....and boosted their careers and exposure to many who never knew about them...Clapton's best period....the contrasting styles of E.C.and Albert Lee...between.....79 -83.....awesome...

The singer always gets the main camera, that's how it is. Why would you show the band all the time or any part of it when you have a singer of the caliber of Eric Clapton?
I like seeing Clapton back then...wipeout the contrived Phil Collins makeover image that was shoved down our throats....
