SMT4A's Krishna has been a nameless presence in Japan for a long time. And when Buddhism was introduced to Japan, he was worshiped by people as Mahakala. However, in 1595, Mahakala was sealed as Krishna, due to a fight with Flynn's previous life, a young man. The sealed place is of course Kanda-no-Yashiro, but Kanda-no-Yashiro is also a shrine that enshrines Ohkuninushi. Ohkuninushi is also a god identified with Mahakala in Shinto-Buddhism syncretism.
