Good info never had that issue where I stayed on camera after new battery was put in but now I know if I do, works with all Nikon since they all have the same buttons now or 10yrs ago:)

The thing for me is that the only thing where it says "battery exhausted" is when I try to make a video. I have the Alkaline battery. I have charged my camera for several hours and when I turn it on it still has half a battery. I know that the charger isn't broken because when I plug it in the wall, the camera won't turn on all the way, but when I unplug it then it will turn on. Another thing is that the battery will say full, then when I get into video mode that is when it shows half a battery. If anyone could give me some advice on how to fix this then that would be appreciated!

Battery leakage doesn't mean always that something would come out of it. It means that the battery is not able to hold the power. Have u tried with new set of batteries?

You need to check mAH of the battery and then check the battery type you set in the camera as I have mentioned in my video..high mAh rechargeable batteries like 2100 mAH are suggested.
Without flash capture karne k time bhi yeh dikha raha hai? Yah fir it does not depend on flash? If only while with flash then u need more powerful battery.

First of all Thanks for watching the video and writing back. I think you are using some old set of batteries which are not able to hold full power. Also I guess you are using flash while taking pic. Flash use lot of power. This issue normally happens if you use a normal non-rechargeable alkaline battery. Check for your camera what is voltage and mAh suggested for your camera. I believe if you put proper new set of battery, charge it full before use and choose the same from the setting then your issue would resolve.
If it seems s battery issue then first u have to check with fresh new battery with full charge and see if it is starting. If not then not battery issue. Some times if you put battery with low voltage then it would happen that camera won't start.
Did you put a new full charged battery with proper battery choice? If yes and still not working then your battery might have issue. You have to check the battery voltage and AMP.

Even after using new everready alkaline battery and setting it correctly. The issue persists. I am using Nikon L830.

Nikon p900 setting there is no battery selected option and menu option are also not. Battery is brand new but not work properly.
