thanks. my grandfather was born there in 1908. great grandpa worked the mines and is buried there. i have never been so very interesting to see the streets where my grandfather played and lived. thanks

Built a cabin in 1998 by Lac Labelle area and have enjoyed many winters there. Fun to play in for sure. They're not having that kind of winter this year though in 2023.

I visited Calumet in Sept 2021, met a really nice man named Paul Campbell, have not been able to contact him since, if you know him tell him to contact Sam Wilkerson in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This video show me why he was wanting to move south to Oklahoma, beautiful place, had my one and only Patsy in Calumet.

I thought winter sucked here in Houghton lake. It's freaking brutal up there.
