The prices are not meant to represent how good/high quality the food is, the prices are meant to discourage “regular” people from shopping there so celebrities can feel more comfortable there

you are actually right, sometimes i go here to get stuff with an ebt card cus no way anyone in my family is paying full price for the items. Me and my sister came upon a famous actor, and i wont say his name for his privacy but he didnt allow any pictures and walked away from us when we sqid hi even when my sister said she loved his shows. He covered his face from us and everything as if we were a crowd of paparazzi. i found it pretty rude

I tried this smoothie when we went to LA and it’s actually pretty good but I’m pretty sure I can buy all the ingredients to make it at central market for $30 but It’d make like 15 servings 😅❤
I don’t think you can buy the ingredients for $30 if you really want to replicate the exact recipe because it has a lot of fancy “nutritious” powders and whatnot. But if you skip those things, then yes, you can. Those ingredients don’t really affect the taste anyway, and I don’t think they’ll do much to our body just by consuming from a cup of smoothie 😂
a jar of sea moss is $30 here in aus and a pack organic frozen strawberries are $9-10 so no you can’t buy, all the ingredients that’s $30 bucks already

It’s annoying when influencers buy expensive things that have no business being so expensive and then say they wouldn’t spend that money on it again? Like, cmon now. We know this place raked in views because it’s insanely expensive for basic food. Expensive doesn’t mean quality. And people viewing this shouldn’t feel bad they can’t afford a $20+ smoothie.

It’s honestly not a bad price if you are looking for place to eat out. Lots of healthy options there, and most dishes are $20 with no tipping. $40-45 for two people is pretty decent in LA. Afterwards we walk around there for healthy dish ideas.
