Robomando is such a funny little guy. I like how most of his moveset is complete trash, but then his special is 100% the most broken single ability in the game. Also I like how he's rather fast, which complements his whole "Grab everything as fast as you can to mitigate your low damage" playstyle. Also, he LOVES Gold Plated Bomb, since he can save so much money with Re-Wire
Lacking a damage option for the special makes this character significantly lower damage than Commando, but you get items way faster as compensation, which is a neat trade off.
what i've noticed is that robo does quite poorly with random teammates who don't understand his strength (speed running through the level). the team takes about as long as usual to clear each stage and so the difficulty rampup outstrips your increased item acquisition rate. your teammates have to be on board and let you open up most of the crates- ive been messaging the chat at the start of the game but understandably almost everyone would rather play normally instead
Robomando is pretty good in singleplayer I think. Just gotta play a bit differently than you would with other survivors, ignore combat wherever possible and speedrun the teleporters while hacking chests and drones. His insane rate of getting items offsets his pitiful attacks, making for a fast-paced character where speed is your only ally. And then the ability to play as a support in multiplayer? Love it. You run ahead, open chests, take mobility and drones, activate the teleporter, and overall speed everyone else up. They managed to make a support survivor that handles fine in singleplayer, something they weren't willing to try in 2.
I died stage 1 but tried again anyway, and found the battery. IT seems that as long as you don't get to stage 2, where the battery chest spawns, you can try again. But once the battery exists in a run, you have to do it over again if you don't succeed.
so when i did the i got to him and fought and lost to him i got a white text box pop up that crashed my game and i didnt get him so i dont know if that was meant to happen or im game couldnt take him
From what I've read elsewhere, it _will not_ work with the artifact that removes chests. However the equipment box that you open on the second run supposedly still does spawn with that artifact enabled.
It’s specifically programmed that way. His unlock method was discovered by decoding secret messages in the survivor logbooks, which gave the general steps on how to unlock him.
yeah if it's to unlock a character it doesn't really matter. i don't think anyone unironically does unlocks legit, it's a huge waste of time and effort that you could spend actually practicing Monsoon runs with your desired loadouts
@@idkwatimdoingtbh I did my unlocks legit. Which is to say, I just played the game normally, and happened to unlock stuff. In the case of Robomanbo, I didn't change that, I just made sure to get the battery and deposit it while playing the game as normal. And again I waited for 22:00 before going to stage 4, but otherwise played as I normally would. No artifacts, or anything else. Chef took quite a few runs, but I figured I'd get them eventually, so I don't need to waste time playing with command, when i can just play the game.
Having the hack on a low cooldown is kinda neat tho. You can effectively speedrun to the teleporter and still get all the items on the way.

Was half expecting this to be a prank video with a mod or something, but it's legit lol. This lil dude is so cool

While not the strongest alone, robomando seems handy for multiplayer as money becomes almost irrelevant to looting

Providence must've been like "I'm losing to a fucking toy?! An inferior construct like my brother's?!?!"
Some how got the 22:00 teleporter condition once, was wondering where to find a battery.
Lmao the end credits music is perfect
Продолжай в том же духе. Отличное видео, давно ждал подобный геймплей
The sheer access to items is a great trade off for sub optimal damage
He is such a cute lil guy and i love him very much
Am I able to find the battery chest again if I die? Or will I have to do the whole first run all over again to get it back?
Watching my husband play through this right now- he died and he had to start over. The chest with the battery didn’t spawn again 😢
Man that sucks. Thanks though!
If you don't open the chest ill still be there but if you do it wont

theres no vase when i go look for it on the variant, do i need to unlock the equipment? if so how?

Play on drizzle
Do we know why the timer has to be exactly 22:00 to work?
Because the drone doesn't appear if it's not 22

it doesnt. you can do it any time in the 22 minute
Edit - source: i did it at 22:14
It's between 22:00 and 22:30
my question is what if you die after changing the difficulty. If I don't get a good response then I'll answer the question in 3 days
His movement is actually good you just need 3 feathers and a little skill are you are good
crashed my game when i tried to kill it, dont have a prophet cape on you while fighting it
Happy mask also causes a crash when Robomando steals it
@@LeafMaltieze OH FFS
NO ONE TALKED ABOUT THE MASK
Is it a chance to spawn cuz i tried 4 times and never got the chest
Nvm it's cuz I had sacrifice on
how did you figure this out. who told you?
he so smol greater whisps shoot over him
Strongest passive in the game lol
How can you even see anything
That's basically risk of rain original FOV. I booted the original one up just to confirm this lol.
The game was made when 720p was the norm.
you did cheat the run tho.
Its not really cheating if its a feature in the game, also its for an unlock so who cares.
