From the USA...God bless you and everyone who served in the SADF, especially 32 Battalion. As I commented in another video, you all represented the best of South Africa.
Dear Charles I feel your hurt, sadly my brother in law Gary Armstrong who also a 32 battalion Sergent passed away recently of cancer a really good person dearly missed, honorable man. He was more concerned for me when my dad past away, never ever telling me of his own struggle with cancer, he will forever be in my thoughts and my heart for his kindness to me over the time I knew him
@@TheRealChipinda Thanks, for your memories, the real A company 32, can't loose anything, you will be welcome to join us, when we get there, everything grave in Pomfret cemetery with no headstone is A company 32 BN. ATE O FIM
Sad the reality of war, it somehow makes one more sad when these heroes resting place is forgotten and dilapidated, when it makes no difference to the fallen, the only thing one can do is to keep their memories alive, One wonders how this cemetery would have looked if history turned the other way. the former south africa died with these soldiers and the disbandment of this battalion
The National Party has to take responsibility because they used them.Actually these guys are not heroes .They betrayed their Angolan and Namibian goverments above all they killed our brothers.
@@motingoemoffat5628 They are heroes. They fought for what they believed in. They were the first line against communism. Democracy prevailed in Namibia and in South Africa, so these heroes were on the winning side.
@@motingoemoffat5628 The same with the ANC and SWAPO. They have to take responsibility for the people they murdered in the socall death camps in Zambia and Angola.
You sound exactly like willem ratte. maybe one get a 32 battalion accent when serving with the unit😁 but an awesome unit it were my dream to serve with them but alas I were born in 1990. Kind of you to give us this video we are still fighting in our own way but with a huge disadvantage, may God be with us. Im still young and I can still fight and I got spirit and I hope something happens....
@@TheRealChipinda VERY SAD VIDEO, THANKS FOR POSTING. I was at Martins grave together with Willem Prinsloo during the disbandment and there were not many graves at the time
The biggest general in world history, Alexander the Great's, grave is unknown and nowhere to be found. Great soldiers don't need monumental graves. These men are heroes and their graves are in our hearts.
