Stay away from cereal and lots of that kind of things, they lots of times contain many added things that could be harmfull, also to get some of those things food could potentially get wasted
I don’t cook on shabbat. I prep from Thursday to Friday cook shabbat meals some Friday get the house clean on Friday. I do use microwave to only warm food that is cooked or leave the warmer on before shabbat starts . Breakfast I make waffles, hard boiled eggs or egg cheese spread grandma used to make before shabbat. Shabbat I start Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. It was difficult but I learned. Also my grandma lite candles 🕯 tradition for us so I light candles before shabbat with a prayer close with a pray and spend much time in Torah. I am sure you have it all down by now.
You don't cook on the Sabbath. You pre prepare before Sabbath comes in at Friday Sundown. The scriptures say we should not kindle any fire, so I prepare foods on the Friday that can be eaten cold when Sabbath comes in at sundown.

Ilajeh Evans cooking is done the day before Shabbat. The 6th day is also called the day of Preparation or Prep day. Friday day before Friday evening is usually when the sister make double portion or second meal. Meaning what we eat on 6th day and also for the sabbath day. Sometime they will get things started Thursday night which is also part of Prep day. Anyway, I hope I answered your question.

I know I keep saying this in the comments but I'm very serious I want to come there for shabbat you invited me about a year ago but because of financial situation I couldn't make it but I've been praying and just this past year my sister and her husband came in the truth and we have been going shabbat at my house but its just us and they come to me to teach them but I know that I should not be teaching a man and my husband no longer fallowing the Father so we need community and we want to meet brothers and sisters in messiah I've been feeling like the FATHER has been leading me to go and meat other brother sisters so if it's ok could you give me information on how I can go about it thanks shalom 🙂

Clearly he said the prep the before .. and it doesn’t take much “work” to put 4 forks next to pieces of cake. Most of you sabbath keepers are so religious like the Pharisees that accused Jesus for picking wheat to eat. You can. Prep as much as you can. It doesn’t take hours of work and muscles to pull prepped food out the fridge. One word I smell in your question………legalistic. At least they are trying to Obey the command. Can you use microwave on the sabbath? I mean to heat up food that you already prepared the day before?
08Coolster we use the oven to heat up our food. I don’t see why not.

How does it work with the cooking of the food? How much " you're not allowed to work" is observed?
Ilajeh Evans cooking is done the day before Shabbat. The 6th day is also called the day of Preparation or Prep day. Friday day before Friday evening is usually when the sister make double portion or second meal. Meaning what we eat on 6th day and also for the sabbath day. Sometime they will get things started Thursday night which is also part of Prep day. Anyway, I hope I answered your question.

I know I keep saying this in the comments but I'm very serious I want to come there for shabbat you invited me about a year ago but because of financial situation I couldn't make it but I've been praying and just this past year my sister and her husband came in the truth and we have been going shabbat at my house but its just us and they come to me to teach them but I know that I should not be teaching a man and my husband no longer fallowing the Father so we need community and we want to meet brothers and sisters in messiah I've been feeling like the FATHER has been leading me to go and meat other brother sisters so if it's ok could you give me information on how I can go about it thanks shalom 🙂

ased on history prior to Jesus walking the earth, the Jews honored the SABBATH on Saturday.
When the Jews started to be persecuted by the Romans, the Believers started having "church" on Sunday, so the Romans would know that they were not Jews, who met on Saturday.
The catholic church was instrumental in making Sunday the day of "church".
The word SABBATH means REST. There are Scriptures showing that Jesus did not keep the SABBATH, as it was taught by the religious leaders of that day. Remember Jesus healed the sick and also picked corn to eat on the SABBATH.
Wilson's Dictionary of Bible Types by Walter Lewis Wilson says:
"SABBATH - Col. 2:16 (a) The sabbath day is a shadow and a type of the perfect REST which every sinner finds in Christ Jesus when he ceases to work for his own salvation and trusts the Saviour to blot out all his sins, redeem his soul, bring forgiveness, give him eternal life, and make him a child of God. Immediately this friend RESTS in the Lord and begins to keep the true sabbath. This same thought is found also in Heb. 4:9 (margin) where the REST which the Lord gives to the trusting soul is compared to the sabbath of the Old Testament. In those days, Israel came to the seventh day, and then RESTED. In our day, the Lord Jesus says, "Come unto Me, and I will give you REST." He is the true sabbath, and He is our sabbath."
So you see, the SABBATH is Jesus. For the Believer, He is our REST, not Saturday or Sunday, but every day.
Colossians 2:16 - Therefore let no one sit in judgment on you in matters of food and drink, or with regard to a feast day or a New Moon or a SABBATH.
Hebrews 4:9 - So then, there is still awaiting a full and complete SABBATH-rest reserved for the [true] people of God
John 5:17 Neither God, nor Christ are SUBJECT TO the sabbath. Right? Who will accuse us, if we imitate Christ? (only men I suppose)
Sabbath is a day of rest therefore who is doing the work of putting out all that food and desert? Do they not get to rest as well?
Clearly he said the prep the before .. and it doesn’t take much “work” to put 4 forks next to pieces of cake. Most of you sabbath keepers are so religious like the Pharisees that accused Jesus for picking wheat to eat. You can. Prep as much as you can. It doesn’t take hours of work and muscles to pull prepped food out the fridge. One word I smell in your question………legalistic. At least they are trying to Obey the command. You’d be better off posting this question on a Sunday keeping church. Do you know how much work it takes to set that day up? Hope this helps
