I think with everyone in the band being so great, the sheer brilliance of Karan's composition/ arrangement aren't talked about enough. Dude, thank you so much for creating the freshest metal I've been able to connect with in ages. Good luck and enjoy all the success coming your way. Love from the Maldives 🇲🇻🤘❤️🤘🇮🇳
Karan bhai, you have an amazing talent to create such wonderful music that touches everyone who is a metal fan! I grew up listening to metal music in the 90s listening to the legendary Pantera, with Dimebag being one of my favourite guitarist. In the last few years I have been listening to Bloodywood and feel like you guys are doing the same thing in Bharat what Pantera did for us all those years ago - creating beautiful music with emotions that we can relate to. Your unique style mixing folk tunes and desi instruments is absolutely incredible. The latest collaboration with Baby Metal is a true testament to your creative genius and of course, shows how good the Japanese band is! I think that you should make more such playthrough videos - would love to hear my favourite song Aaj, one of your best compositions with so much emotion! I watched you guys perform live at Mumbai recently and it was fucking brilliant to say the least! Love you guys, keep rocking! PS: Jayant ko ek pappi (geeli wali) for his awesome vocal range 😘
Wait.....what?!?!?! The actual badass band guitarist is doing a cover video so we can learn?!?! This is absolutely awesome!!! Thank you so much for doing this and you guys absolutely rock!!
"Cover". Dude.... you made me double check who this was posted by. Love your stuff, discovered you guys about 6 years ago with Jee Veerey and only realised you dropped the albumn last month. Tour Australia please!
its not a traditional 6 string per se. This is a Shuriken Variax - can tune the output to upto an octave lower while staying physically in standard E tuning
I'm from Shillong India and I just discovered you guys two months ago, thanks to TH-cam algorithm. I'm so blown away by you guys, you're so unique and absolutely brilliant. Hope to see you guys live someday soon.
The riff from @00:38 is a call to the moshpit gods. And The riff @00:48 gives me life! Seriously, holy shit that groove sounds sic! Love it. Thanks Karan!
Amazing stuff. Bloodywood are the first band in years I have actually got excited about. You should share your helix patch as the guitar tone on the album is killer 👌
Just wanted to say I love your band so much. Being a metal musician from India myself, I know how hard it is to do what you guys have done. I don't have words to describe the immense respect I have for Bloodywood. 🙌🏼 PS. I really dig your syncopated rhythms. It'd be wonderful if you can make a lesson on the rhythmic subdivisions you use to write these badass nu metal style riffs. Or better yet, something on your approach to writing riffs would be hugely appreciated by many, myself included.
For long I watched "Not Afraid - Eminem - Cole Rolland" and ever wondered when I get to see a Indian alternative. You, Vishesh and the entire Bloodywood team are now my absolute favourite. 🥰🥰🥰
Would absolutely love to see more content like this. This recording couldve easily been on the album. Side by side you could never tell. Much love from Tennessee!! The first tour you launch in the US I'm there doesn't matter where, I can't wait to hear y'all live. Such an inspiration!
I just got home from work and this was at the top of my Facebook page. This was outstanding!! I'm getting back into guitar and it would be my dream to play like you. 🙂🤩
Dear mr Katiyar. Thank you so much for all the inspiration and color you've brought in our lives. It's like your songs. I can see the passion in your eyes as you expose your soul to the world, the first time 15k people in your tent at Wacken. In india, the peole love Bollywood..The rest of the world loves Bloodywood. The amount of people you've saved with Jee Veerey, and the strong lyrics of Mr Kerr and Mr Bhadula. You are all in balance, thank you for this video. I share your opinion that without lyrics, music somehow doesn't reach the soul as it intents. A storm without wind and thunder is just rain. Beautiful still, each on their own. The full potential comes when all are together. Thank you for this video, I will enjoy to cover it. I shall see you again in Europe Nijmegen, 8 March 2023. Stay safe, kadam saboot mazboot ekdum,Ye toh sirf hai shuruwaat.
Make more play throughs. Also running through the composition/recording of the album and/or specific songs would be great especially if you have footage of the whole band. A bit like Raj but a studio version instead of live
Karan your an absolute genius! Thanks so much for doing this video. 💗 I needed it so bad haha. If your going to do more of these can I please suggest "Zanjeero Se" I have been trying to figure it out since you released it lol, or at least can I just know what tuning it's in. Thank you Karan for the amazing work
My comfort zone is drop C but gotta tune this low to suit Jayant's vocal range. The lower you go, the harder it is to make fast playing/chugs tonally legible :(
Thanks for uploading this!! It’s also really great to hear an instrumental version to really understand some of the nuances in the song! I’m noticing little details you just can’t hear with the (seriously amazing) vocals and it’s adding another layer to the song for me. Now to grab the guitar and learn this!
Thank you! All the songs have things in the instrumental section that isnt exactly audible along with the vocals. The weird part is, whenever I remove them the songs suddenly seem dead. Music is weird
@@karankatiyarBW that’s just great mixing though. They’re the salt. You don’t want to taste salt but you’ll notice when it’s needed and not there. Amazing work.
Beatiful composition my guy. I love bloodywood and I would love to see you live in Germany. Sadly I missed 3rd of march in Germany bur I will stay Updated to your concerts :) You create the best and most headbanging riffs I've ever heard. I can only wait for your next Album 🤟 stay in bloodywood
Man you're such a great inspiration! Your video editing skills are magnificent, and your playing is phenomenal, composition is top notch! This playthrough should be out there on the official Bloodywood channel, you're too underrated. Keep doing what you're doing, thanks for the motivation! Also what do you use for editing videos? And what DAW for your production? PS - Just noticed you don't use a pick, sick!
I can't wait to see where you, Raoul, and Jayant take the band. Each of you are perfect with each other. Been listening since just after the album dropped earlier this year and I hope too catch a show at a future tour if you're ever back in Minnesota
No doubt, Bloodywood is an awesome band, but I have to say that it would be even greater if you, my dear Karan, were so kind and play some more riffs. You are a fantastic guitarist and I feel you are underestimating how a good guitar solo could improve your songs. Anyway, Bloodywood are at the top 5 in my metal bands ranking. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your talent. Greetings from Spain

@@karankatiyarBW Scratch Aftershock! Since then, I found out you guys are coming to Southern California, so I will see you in Santa Ana! I cannot wait!
