Nice squirrel hunt, better than my start in southern Georgia three days ago - one squirrel, one tick and 30 chiggers...I have to learn to wait a little longer down here. Still better than sitting at home working. But it is Autumn and it's time to hunt again so let's have at it. Good luck for a good season.
I was out on Oct 1 season opener here in Texas at the Gus Engling WMA. My luck wasnt all that great. I didnt even see a squirrel. Others out had about the same luck. But then again, it was a great day in the woods, great weather, met a few other guys out enjoying the day. Maybe I can get out and have another great day, and maybe see a few bushy tails this next time.
Great video that is good squirrel hunting especially when conditions are so dry and glad to see you shoot at the coyote I am sure you hit him, I have seen you shoot on your target videos . I love to squirrel hunt so bring on more videos, can’t wait for some of your deer videos

Yeah, I wish I could have killed him on the spot. That's why I aimed for the head. Oh well, perhaps he will die of lead poisoning, that is if I actually connected with him.
Good start to the 2022 season. I was thinking that walking on those dry leaves was like walking on potato chips, or as you put it, Corn Flakes. I had fun on Thursday at the range with one of the Glenfields I recently acquired, as well as the little Model 65. Both shot like a dream.

Thanks..Tom ..for another video……I here in Northern Michigan have been hunting Squirrels..little tuff this yr..no acorns or Beech nuts..I’ve been hunting near corn fields and trying to cut them off on their way to their den trees…..I’m 70..been hunting Squirrels sence I was 12… I hunt with a Remington 581 left hand..a CZ 452 left hand..and a Savage mark ll left hand….bring on more Squirrel hunting videos ..Bud.

I think he was about 60 yards out, and I was using standard velocity hollow points.
