I still have my og pair from back in the 90s, and people always say ogs better but....the ogs hurt. The heel area was reinforced with something hard like boardlast or something. But they have removed that feature from all retros, so I have always preferred the retros over the og for the 12s. If would make your ankle raw

I grew up in DC. I was in my mid 30s by ‘97, living in PG County. I had children to take care of at the time. So, I wasn’t about to buy any Jordans back then. I was good with any pair of Nikes less than $100. Now, I have stacks of Jordans and other Nikes, Adidas, Pumas, etc. taller than me. I tripled-up on these 12s with no plans on wearing them anytime soon.
