I live across the ocean in Denmark, I have never even been near Ann Arbor but I hope Pete's is saved so further generations can get to enjoy this clearly special place as well.
Cheers from Flint, this hits close to home as various arcades and game stores in my area have fallen prey to similar circumstance as well as the financial toll from COVID 19 a few years back. I ought to take a trip over to ann arbor to hang out, and stop by pinball Pete's. Thanks for this documentary!
Theres plenty of fighing game tournaments happening in michigan. I made a documentary just like this on the FGC in michigan. Its a great video to learn more about it!
I've never heard of this place before now and have only been to Ann Arbor once in my life (have no clue how this wound up on my recommended feed, tbh) but having seen your video, am fully on board with your efforts to try and save Pinball Pete's. What is happening to Pete's is a microcosm of what is happening across the US in every city/town, to varying extents, but happening everywhere still, where you have these huge faceless corporate development companies coming in and totally destroying any semblance of local culture or uniqueness. Destroying these important "third spaces" continues to have a hugely negative impact upon the lives of people who actually live in these places; worst of all it's done so they can cram in more cookie-cutter overpriced apartment buildings and further homogenize downtowns into a bleak mass of chain retail stores. Good luck.

Dang, glad to see the word is being spread overseas!
Petes sounds like a great place. Good luck to everyone involved.

Spent more hours than I can count at the East Lansing Pinball Petes in the late 80s. I hope you manage to save yours.
If we spread the word enough, we hope to
