I’ve never felt unsafe anywhere in Sacramento. Your shopping experience reminds me of shopping in Thailand or India (now, that’s an adventure). Nice haul. Great prices. You’re going to be busy.
WOW! I'm living vicariously through you! Great haul! Love the last colorful one. Can't wait to see those britches made up. You really can't have too many cardigans 😊. See you soon! 🌻🌹💐🌄💕
Stephanie, I love love love all your fabric beautiful thank you so much for sharing. I can’t wait to see your next video. Please keep us posted.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Stephanie! My you've been a naughty girl! 😆 Just kidding! I'm not in a fabric-buying mood ATM; I've stowed away linens and light cottons and sorted the twills and knits for winter sewing. As I'm writing this, I'm thinking I haven't actually done this with my closet yet. 1959 was a great year, eh?! Don't be too quick to bury that knit with the gold tones that you said 'weren't my colors'. It looked fabulous when you held it up to your face. 🤩 Hmmm 80's..... I was mostly into making and wearing McCall's Liz Claiborne patterns, and making play clothes for little boys - both born in the 80's. I used khaki/olive greens with pale green and that same pink you've got there. Looking up at my thread rack, my oldest unused spools are aqua, teal-y greens, and dark pink colors. Have fun playing with your new additions!! 😁🎉💗
Your fabric haul is one to be jealous of. Beautiful stuff you have there. I'm not a pink person, but do love hot pink and will wear hot pink. You, my friend, will look beautiful in that pink. Would love to see a picture of you in your leather suit.
Fun! Fun! Fun!!! Love your fabric choices. I've also been stepping out of my comfort zone with colors. Perhaps it's the change of seasons. Either way, I love everything you purchased. You're going to look FABULOUS as always. 😊
Girl, I bet you wore that blue leather suit! We knew how to dress back then. My fav fabric is the gray with that fabulous texture. Next would be the pinky taupe. I can totally see that in the wide leg pants with a slouchy sweater. Yummy!
I LOVE the hot pink fabric. I had a hot pink chamois shirt from LL Bean in 1980. I don't wear anything that bright anymore, but I still love it. Sadly I am uncomfortable in polys and rayons that don't breathe. I agree it is nicer to touch the fabric in person. I have to drive 2 hours to shop anywhere besides Joann Fabrics. I buy fabric at Joann, but lately the quality is so disappointing. Seersuckers, gingham and double gauze that were blue originally fade to beige within two months! I don't even have any bleach in the house. I wash them with free & clear detergent and cold water.
Love it all can't wait to see them makes like you I live in the country so no stores anywhere just got alot of rayon can't wait to start my summer wear😊😊
Hi Stephanie, I love when you make something and then you model it! You've got the vogue moves.😊 I only wish when you buy fabric to show that you weren't so far away from the camera, cuz i would love to see it better. Maybe at the end of those videos you could grab the camera and zoom in the fabrics? Keep it coming, love ya.
Who wants to see that leather suit? Me!

I also had a royal blue leather jacket in the 80s with big shoulder pads and big hair. Hahaha, those were the days. I was born in 57.

Stephanie, I am with Alison I wish more independent fabric stores were close to me. You have some beautiful fabrics.
I bought the exact pink colour and I have no idea what I’m going to make with it 🤣😂🤣 nostalgia kicked in.
Love it! I’m envious that you have such great independent fabric stores nearby - we only have JoAnn’s 😢

I think the fabric that looked the best on you was the one you said was not your colors! It was beautiful on you - went great with your hair color. 😻
