Well, I learnt the hard way - my arms aren't long enough to manoeuvre 8' x 4' boards on my own. I somehow managed to twist my back in the process meaning I couldn't start work on the boards for the fiddle yard.
Fast forward a few days (and a few £'s spent!) and I'm now back ready to start building.
Access has been the biggest challenge. I've lost count of the number of times I've cracked my head on the frames above, and consistently being own my knees has been pretty painful.
Despite all this I have made some good progress and have all the lower level boards and foam in place ready now to start track laying.
Thank you, as always, for watching.

Good job looking good 👍
Looking great, wish I had your space 👍🏻
Nice progress!
that is some seriously impressive timberwork, especially as a retro fit
Hi Andy.
Wow lots of points there, you will need a lot for a large fiddle yard.
I'll say it yet again absolutely love your turntable, have a look at my one doesn't even come close to yours. 😢
Frame work is brilliant, well over engineered I've found that's always the way to go. You might have a bit of a problem crawling under it though. 😉
Thanks Andy. Might see you at Donny.
Thumbs up thumped 👍
....Pete and Su....
Can use vinegar or isopropanol alcohol to soften the PVA. Faster than warm water.
Hi Andy
Great to see another video from you. I’m going to Doncaster as well on Saturday. Did you get my message to you which would have been last week or so on your last video about your turntable?
