- Enjoy a midday walk at Falls Park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Falls Park is 128-acres and sits north of the city's downtown - next to the Big Sioux River. An average of 7,400 gallons of water drop 100 feet over the falls each second. We recently visited Falls Park during our trip to the NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey regional in Sioux Falls (we were watching the University of Nebraska at Omaha Hockey team in the tournament). The park is free and open to the public. Falls Park features various walking trails and observation platforms where you’ll have a terrific view the waterfalls. The walk was filmed in 4K. It features natural sounds for relaxation. Enjoy!
