Ice nine kills is the most underrated band ever
And now still 2020
But also 2015-2018
They were the opening act for Hollywood Undead and Papa Roach on their european tour and i was lucky enough to see them live on march 3rd, about a week before they cancelled the tour because of corona.
Anyway i went with no real expectations since i legit just listened to this album once a few hours before the concert. And i gotta say, i was really impressed, their performance was amazing and i really appreciated the costume change for each song.
So yeah, they are definitely underrated and if they ever come back to my country, maybe as headliners instead of opening act i'll 100% go to see them :D

iStrike|xD I’m on the other side of the corona thing. I had no idea who they were, but they’re opening for I Prevail, Papa Roach, and FFDP which i bought tickets for (mostly for PR and IP). When I looked them up, I think they became the one i was looking forward to most. But corona has delayed the show until November (so far). Fingers crossed i get to see them still and the show doesn’t get cancelled completely.

This band is in an interesting place. They're big enough to tour with major bands and have been a staple of Warped Tour for years, but small enough to not get the following they deserve.

INK is like our own little secret. They should be one of the bigger bands in this genre. They never cease to amaze me and have never made a bad song ever. Been a fan since Last Chance To Make Amends/The Burning and they have never let me down.
Austin Unknown I’ve been a fan since a couple months before ETITB but it’s actually my least favorite album out of all of theirs. My favorite being SIJAS.
SIJAS is a underrated masterpiece. Its awesome your going back to listen to older music. Great stuff!
Austin Unknown I was really happy when they remastered it. There was this weird mix of, in my opinions, songs that were better in the original and songs that are better remastered. Like, one where the second vocalist couldn’t quite pull something off like Spence in the remaster, or when Spencer couldn’t quite pull off what the old second vocalist did in the original (because obviously he had to take both clean parts for the remasters).

RAZ6ne that makes more sense than what I initially thought. I thought it might be enjoy your slay because of the whole story to the shining if you added a slight twist on things a child who experienced that much trauma would undoubtedly be disturbed. but the Halloween story makes more sense, especially if they're sticking with the whole slasher film theme

i like this band but i have some stuff that i can critisize about them:
-im not really into horror themes
-sometimes the whole harmony that was building up gets ruined because of a random breakdown
-some of the songs sound TOOO similar
-and sometimes it is not creepy and more funny
but yeah dont get too mad about some things i dont like i respect your opinion.

I really love Spencer's vocals in the chorus. He's a genius when it comes to writing lyrics for a song and I actually met him in Nashville for the final Warped Tour and he remembered me from the TEI class I took with him at Warped Tour '16.
I met him in December of 2012, they came to Fayetteville Arkansas. The venue they were playing at is inside one of our malls, so while we were waiting for the show to start, me and my friends were walking around the mall. I had a HUGE crush on Spencer at the time, and he walked past us as we were walking around. And I fangirled so hard, but I was too shy to go up and say hi. So fast forward to right before the show starts and we're sitting at some tables outside the venue and Spencer comes out and my boyfriend at the time shouted as loud as he could "SPENCER MY GIRLFRIEND LOVES YOU" and he literally picked me up and threw me over his shoulder and carried me over to him and forced me to talk to him. He was so nice and cool about it, he gave me a hug and asked if I had any song requests. The People Under The Stairs was my favorite song then so I asked him to play that one and they did. That was such an awesome night. I almost had a heart attack when he hugged me. Sorry for the long story, haha.
I have to give you that. He is a genius musician although he didn’t write this song.

This song is an absolute MASTERPIECE, there is no question about it. The amount of talent and genius behind this production is overwhelming. 10/10 IMO
I love how, even though this is a concept album and not they're original stories, they still manage to bring every story to life. With each song they are able to bring the feeling of watching the movie into the song. They hit deep, tell the story well and bring this heavy hit that not only shines light on how good the story is, but makes those stories shine brighter in my opinion. INK, you guys ROCK, DO NOT STOP!

The thing that gets me in this song is the screech in spencers voice when he screams when mother whispers.. So maniacal and amazing. His screams have such passion. I think this will be there best album since they are all major horror fans so the fire is there.

Could definitely be wrong, but I’m seeing a little pattern. At warped tour, Spencer was dressed as Freddy, and JD was Jason, so assuming that means something, there has to be a Michael Myers one sometime, as Justin dressed as him.

Kevin Tretta I agree with you I love the concept for The Silver Scream. At their warped tour merch booth it has different clues of what concept songs are going to be on the album. From movies like Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and many others

As a fan of metal and a fan of 80’s slashers, the first time I heard this song I bowed down to them as they truly are Gods

I’m straight up loving the harder songs more recently. Also with spencer taking on tougher vocal styles, it’s just a formula which screams (no pun intended) badass. Also, knowing spencer, you can see a true passion in the songs because of his huge love of this genre of films, and it shows. And on a side note, they’re telling a pretty interesting story so far with the new album, and I’m hyped to see the direction they take it. I’m praying for some sort of full circle loop back to their last album’s story arc. Keep it up guys!
INK is one of the best bands of all time. How do you put out this level of entertainment for 15 years, silver scream looks to be their best album yet.
This bands music you can take and put on the most hipster-ish thing you can think of and still be a badass. CD, MP3 player, cassette tape, vinyl record, take your pick.

I have no clue why I didn't like this band before... After seeing this I went and listened to Every Trick In The Book. It's incredible, especially the lyrics. I absolutely love Tess-Timony! Really glad I gave these guys a second chance. Shame on me!
I typically really hate Hardcore/Metalcore I enjoy just about every Metal subgenre besides Metalcore, with the only exception being Killswitch Engage but I can't stand and hate bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White, etc. They're awful, I don't know how that garbage is even called Metal. I could rant for hours on how much I hate it. But I love this band I think it's because I really love Horror especially Slashers, so if they didn't stick to that theme, I'm sure I wouldn't like them, but as it stands INK is the 2nd exception to Metalcore.
Actually I'm 99% positive that the next one will be Halloween because in Warped Tour Spencer wears that striped Freddy shirt, JD that same Jason mask and Justin a halloween mask plus makeup in every show (from what I've seen, I didn't go to warped) so I'm pretty sure!!
