This is real, no compression, overdubs, fancy equipment, the man singing and playing, somebody's finger must have slipped when they gave this thumbs down, I'd take this all day long every day, music from the heart, pure sounds from his soul.
The real deal. Takes Me back to My Grandma's Georgia dirt road General Store. There were always some old timers sitting out front with paperbagged bottles pickin on beatup guitars and banjos. The good ol days.
you must not be able to play at all, because it ain't like he's Hendrix out here changing the game. He played pretty basic blues chords and finger patterns.
damn im from Mississippi and this is the real thing. Not only because the music, but because that background noise is BUGS and they are loud as fuck. That's how you know this is authentic. deep south forever :)
I remember a boy at our school had a bublebee pet for at least one resses, he had it on a cotton leash around its hind metatarsus so he could run around scaring his fellow humelings with it.
They found Chatmon laying in ditch high on cheap wine , for several days , he had sheep wool on his pants , sheep shit on his shirt , he woke up he said baaah , baah
He lived in Hollandale Mississippi until he died. I had the privilege of mowing his lawn as one of my first jobs.
Cool

Sam Chatmon was the real deal. If I could play 1% as good ad he did, my life would be complete.
He didn't just play it, he also lived it.

Bo Carter's music, a black blues man, Sam Chatmon, singing...
Because they are brothers.
@@TheMC1215 I think a lot of people don't realize that Sam Chatmon is black because he has such a light complexion.
