Sunny's MK4 Golf GTI Anniversary 1.8T FMIC upgrade

Thanks for watching another Pritpals projects video!
In this episode we take my cousins fairly stock Mk4 Golf Anniversary and add in a front mounted intercooler to increase the breathing of the engine ahead of all the future mods he has planned for this car!
We go through the fitting process i undertook to get it fitted and then day 2 is upgraidng the front antirollbar to a Eibach one along with a sport cat being welded in by me!

Very informative video. What are the measurement on that intercooler?

You didn’t need to chop so much off the crash bar bracket. You can just drill out the stitch welds from the plates that sit behind the mounting bracket and then just feed the pipe through.

Thanks for the comment, I wanted more room for the pipes to move around a little, for heat expansion hence why I cut so much out

Hi mate, great job on the install nice and subtle with the bumper not cut to pieces. looking to do the same for my anni but want a metal finish on the intercooler rather than black. Any chance you could shed some light on how gravity have finished it in black. Is it just paint that I could remove with paint stripper? Any info much appreciated!

Just paint bro! I'm sure with some sanding and polishing would come up great!
Also look at eBay options that are unpainted!!
