Edit: Just tried the pumpkin spice latte at Dunkin Donuts today and I’m definitely nay on it. I can definitely agree with the expression your friend made. The flavor just wasn’t for me, I don’t think I’ll ever be trying it again.

I tried it for the first time too last week. Wasn’t bad. Kinda tasted like drinking a pumpkin muffin lol. Will always be a hardcore tea drinker, so I’m not really Starbucks’ target audience lol
Tazo has a pumpkin spice tea concentrate that I use to make tea lattes with. Tastes good, really similar to Chai with the spices and all

There's a tea I really like called rooibos (hoping I spelled it correctly lol) that tastes exactly like how I'd imagine fall tastes, and tbh I think I prefer it over pumpkin spice.

i don’t like pumpkin that much and i’m allergic to cinnamon, lol, but because of the fall season, an incredible amount of people order our pumpkin drinks and food items (i work at starbucks). so i inhale a lot of cinnamon (oof) and experience more pumpkin than i would like. i do like the taste of the pumpkin muffin, though. if you like pumpkin pie, i’d suggest having the pumpkin loaf with a little whipped cream or french vanilla ice cream.

I've tried hot and cold pumpkin spice lattes and in my opinion (as someone who usually prefers iced coffee) the hotter latte was just better so try it without ice and with whipped cream next time it'll be better

I barely tried it 2 years ago. So I was 27 when i first tried a PSL. Anyways I'm 29 now and I love that shit. I'm a typical Hispanic stereotypical ex gang member so I'm already out of place a lot of the time but me liking PSL is always an eye opener for others. Idk why.
Nay for me. I tried one because I love pumpkin spicey things. Mine was hot, strong and kinda bitter. It was before I knew that all but the weakest coffee gives me tummy trouble and exacerbates my anxiety. It did not go well for me. 😅
Caffeine tends to do that to anxiety and coffee is a laxative...
You need to drink the hot version. Its so much better. A hot psl on a cold fall or winter day is perfect

I love pumpkin spice lattes. I love any pumpkin spice drink but the lattes are my favorite. Since they’re seasonal I always get as many as I can and I know I’ve spent way too much money on them lol. I’m always excited for fall in general, and pumpkin spice is just another thing I get excited for.

I was about to order this the other day but backed out. I was like, “Naaah there’s no way this can be good” I think I made the right call 😅
They taste better when made at home. Tbh the first try, it doesn’t taste good but your tastebuds will get used to it the second time and you’ll end up liking it. For me at least 🤣

I hate overly sweet coffee drinks cause it takes away from the actual center of attention. Just enough to make it balanced. I'm usually not a huge fan of Starbucks for that reason, but the other day I was there with a few friends and figured I'd try something. The Nitro Cold Brew with a splash of milk and a lil bit of sugar free vanilla syrup (or something like that) was pretty neat. I tried the Pumpkin Spice Cream Cold Brew a few days later (out of curiosity) and it's not bad. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was fine. I wouldn't have minded some more coffee but yeah, it was a good once in a while taste.

Just so you know, the pumpkin spice sauce used to make it also has milk.

I don’t even think we have pumpkin spice lattes in New Zealand. We don’t really have Starbucks here though. There’s only one in my city, there used to be four but the other three closed down. They couldn’t compete with New Zealand coffee.
I don’t like that Starbucks cause I went there and ordered my brother a vanilla sweet cream cold brew with oat milk and it was supposed to be nitro but when we went there a second time they told us they didn’t have nitro (nitro means less sugar) so we paid for a nitro and we got a normal
if you’re making dalgona coffee, put some brown sugar, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon in the instant coffee mix. it is delish ✨

i feel like it’s one of those flavors you can burn yourself out on fast if it’s not your absolute favorite. i did it in one fall season and have never gotten one again bc it makes me sick just thinking of it now 😭

In my opinion, almond milk really changes the flavor of most starbucks drinks. Maybe next time you can try it with oat milk or regular :)

Someone bought PSL coffee pods to work once to use in our keurig. I tried it and gagged and threw it away. Never again. I do still love coffee though.
I commented in the post before recommending an extra shot of expresso and i think its just the way to go lol i used to get it all the time during the season since Starbucks was in the same parking lot as my vet clinic! I enjoy the pumpkin cream cold brew as well!

okay I get every one of my coffee drinks iced... EXCEPT the pumpkin spice latte, extra shot does help cut the sweetness, but something about hot pumpkin coffee on a breezy autumn afternoon that just is the vibes. Iced would ruin that for me!

PSL is kind of overpriced here as any other festive/seasonal drink would be tbh. But the fact that it's just cinnamon and some pumpkin spice over latte is just a bit too sus for 4 more dollars lol. If it's a lot cheaper, sure lol. I love their apple latte a lot though and think that it should be in their regular menu or as an optional pump, I believe it's from their winter seasonal drinks.

The other day I got a pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks. It was good and all, but I was mad at myself for spending almost $7 on a drink that I could make at home. My parents have a really nice coffee machine and the pumpkin sauce/syrup is not that hard to make. 😂
Same here it's my first time trying it out last week. I had the hot version and I ordered venti by accident as I'm still not so familiar with how their cups sizing works. 😅
It's a no for me. There's a weird after taste that I don't understand. Maybe I'll give it a shot again but with the cold version.
