I live vicariously through your content as I’m currently on sick leave due to a broken wrist that won’t heal by building new bone. In the last few weeks, you’ve taken me all over the world. I watch the cruise ships leave San Francisco, sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge and wonder if you’re on it. Thank you for sharing your world, plus Oscar and Ted(xy) are adorable.
I would gain so much weight on that ship. That carbonara looked sooooo good (too many places in the US say carbonara, but they use Alfredo sauce). I think that breakfast sausage you had that was a bit sweet probably had some maple in it. That is so popular here all over North America.

That melon salad had Tajin sprinkled on top, a Mexican staple for fresh fruit. Every grocery store in SW USA sells it. Sugary sweet chili powder....Chorizo/ potatoes is Mexican breakfast food...Avocados from Mexico on toast...Yum 😋

First of all-you won’t be alone-unless you want to be.. everyone on VV is so friendly and chill-and they have special get togethers for solo sailors. If you want formal and fancy-go for the Wake for amazing filet mignon or salt encrusted dorado fish. Want fun and festive? Do Razzle Dazzle and celebrate with fairy toast and rainbow churros for dessert. I’ll be sailing Dec 23 for Christmas and our 15th anniversary and then again on April 23, 2023. Im hooked, sold, converted to a Virgin Sailor. 🤩🥳. Btw-Happy Birthday!
Hi guys. I'm trying to work out how the restaurants work in you're, say, on a 15-night cruise but you can only book each restaurant once. What are the options for the remaining nights given that you can't even pay to make a second booking and there is no "main" dining room?
The food looks absolutely amazing, but I’ve heard quite a few people say that the restaurants were hard to book and they were disappointed they couldn’t get in to the restaurants they wanted. Did you not have this problem? Is there a difference in availability depending on if you are staying in a suite vs a standard room?
i did not have trouble booking but i booked early and even when it was all booked out i did not have a problem walking in an seeing if there was space. I was "fit in" and it only took a 10 min wait. so doesn't hurt to just walk in and try it. we are doing another virgin cruise in June.
