I have watched most of your videos and that one was the craziest yet - all those ladders, mud, bridges and wonderful coast - I didn’t even know there was a trail on the west coast of Vancouver Island
Beautiful wilderness scenery like nothing we see over here in the UK except maybe in parts of Scotland. I guess the bears, cougars and other wild animals use those trails too, how scary to meet one on a bridge or a ladder. I know you do silent videos to let nature take centre stage but its good to see those little interactions with the camera now and then. Thanks for taking the risks to bring us these fabulous videos.

Another great hiking video! Makes me miss living in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for keeping it real and showing how tough it can be to traverse those wet logs 😁🪵🌲
That piece of machinery at 1:00:54 is a steam donkey. It was used to yard logs in the woods. It was filled with cables that would pull the logs together to where they could be loaded on a train and taken away. And I think the bridge at 1:01:07 is a narrow gage railroad bridge with the rails removed. Very cool.
This video is amazing! The scenery is so stunning, I almost forgot I was watching from my couch with a bag of chips. Your cinematography is top-notch-if I ever hike the West Coast Trail, it’ll be because you made it look way easier than it probably is. Thanks for the virtual workout!
