    There should be duality.
    In the Bhagavat Purana the place were the demon king Bali resides is Sutala, it's the 5th Loka counted from below.
    Indras place is also the 5th counted from above.
    Also Bali will become the next Indra, after the current manvantara ends.
    But Bali can't really be called asura, because he surrendered to Vamana avatar.

    Namaste🙏🏽 I know the Vedas are boring but could you please discuss the Asuras in the Rig Veda that are worshipped as deities like Varuna. I sense Demons are shape shifters and can take the form of ASURAS or GANAS. I kindly ask of you to please discuss the similarities and differences of the two and elaborate on Demons taking either form. 🙏🏽🕉️☮️

      Asura means lord ok. And indra takes forms too. Infact all forms are his creation which is why he is also called vishwakarman

      Ganas are army bands and are generally regarded positive in rigveda not in a negative way at all. Infact the word ganesha means lord of ganas
