Michelle!! You did so well. That weekly tidy in the garage is paying off. And you donated so much. Definitely sounds like the next step is to move the items blocking your access to bins. How long would it take to move those things another foot or two, 15 minutes or so? Sometimes it helps my husband if I can ask for x minutes of his time and when he would like to do the help. Good luck! Enjoy your summer in the pool!
Wonderful work, Michelle! I pick up new Ponderosa pine cones every year for Christmas. Then they go on the New Years Eve Bonfire. I would donate the snowman, someone will enjoy it. We are giving away an outdoor set for his sisters yard. Hubs has also promised to donate the book bins. We now need the space now for son’s new car!

You’re getting it done! Little by little. I’m waiting until the Fall before I get into my messy studio/storage space off the garage. Hopefully - by then I’ll have all the already decluttered stuff dropped off or otherwise out of here. I’m feeling more like letting stuff go now. Proud of you for getting the grocery bags and donations dropped off. It makes a difference.
Great job Michelle! You definitely deserve an iced coffee! It's a good idea to take a break in July and August anyway because of how hot it gets in the summer! We are into the triple digits this week in Austin! UGH! Thanks for sharing!💗
Hey, Michelle! I'm at the beginning. Sara's video was great. I actually went out and did some more in my garage and outside after watching it.
Can't wait to see what you do, but I'll have to resist the temptation to go do more today no matter how motivating it is. My body said I'm done for the day. 😅

This morning hubby and I swam in the pool for like 2 hours, very nice. Hoping swimming gets me back into shape, at least a little anyways!

You did brilliant. If you're going to sort through the boxes in your garage, it might be a good idea to keep those 2 fans. Just think, very soon, you can do a bit of sorting then just go and have a dunk in the pool, now that sounds fab.
I have a better fan in the house that we can bring out into the garage. I threw them both away they were old and nasty dirty etc.

Oh gosh thanks Mel but it feels like a disaster still to me 🤪 I’m trying not to think about it too much. It’ll get there some day. Yes lately my body has been saying that’s enough early in the day. The Florida heat is getting me all ready and makes me swell, which sucks the life out of me. Fun stuff, not!
Somebody somewhere said that once you start thinking about organizing, you are done decluttering. If the goal is decluttering, organizing should be a separate project. I kinda have to agree. If I start thinking about organizing stuff, it kind of flips a switch in my brain.
Ya I realized that and meant mention it in my video that is usually a no no but I don’t care I did it anyway. It’s not completely organized anyway just kinda assessing what I have and labeling so hubby can find stuff. I didn’t “buy” and organizing stuff used what I had etc… I also needed to figure out where stud is going to go, where it’s home is going to be when I come across something that’s out of place. Definitely way different then any other space in my house and I’m struggling with it for sure. Not sure why because I’ve made over this garage before.

If you can't find the bike stuff when you look for it, where is the first place you do look?
