When you see them live you see their greatness. It sounds exactly like their albums. It's as if they simply put a mic in front of the band and hit record. No soundboard or studio necessary! Amazing!
There are so many awesome Canadian bands out there that kick absolutely ass! As an example the “Tea Party” from Windsor,Ontario who are an amazing 3 piece band & their not very well known in America🇺🇸, they have American fans but not on the scale they should be imo. There big in Canada obviously & surprisingly Australia🇦🇺 which is so cool & they even filmed their live dvd in Australia 🤘
The fact that a band like this can be making songs like this that fall through the cracks tells us everything that's still wrong with the music industry and that all the internet in the world doesn't mean shit for promotion.
Canada gets s*** promotion. If they were American they'd get massive money promotion like Fall out Boy,, the Hip and Our Lady Peace should have got all those years.....,,but all get s*** in Canada. Therefore these Canadian bands make a tiny fraction of the money of American bands and have to do it on their own pocket clearly unless they go back to university to fund their music projects
I went to see Warren Zevon and the Odds were his opening act/band, and blew me away...became a life long fan, and sadly the only time I got to see them live.
I saw The Odds open for The Hip, in Red Deer (1996). They were as good, if not better. I'm a huge Hip fan, too. These guys were one of the best from Canada. I don't feel they got the status they so deserved!
I've been a big fan of the Odds for years..and an even bigger fan today....Canada's Greatest underrated Band..I got to do Backstage security for them a few years ago..I Tried hard all night not to fanboy over them.

might as well share my story...saw The Odds at a radio station fest the last weekend of June '94. They had to follow Korn (Korn's 1st Detroit-area show), and proved themselves more than up to the task.

I still cannot figure out the proper chords for this song... its had me befuddled for 25 years. I can track the bass line and the fundamental changes but there's some overlay between the guitars that has me baffled

I’ve loved the Odds for years. Now love Craig as part of the Trans Canada Highwaymen. Saw them in Edmonton and Whistler. All so good.
