Going back to my previous comment, Steve Smith said that during the taping of this episode, they had never told the studio audience that Pat had come back to the show, wanting to keep it a secret until he came out. So when Pat came out, the excited and surprised reaction of the studio audience was completely genuine.
Can you imagine only becoming familiar with the show during season 10, and then this ep airs, and you're like, "Who the hell is that guy?" And then down the road, you see Bill in season 13 and get even more confused...
"Did you miss me?" "I wasnt even shootin at ya" OMG I have said this EXACT phrase for more than half of my adult life, but have NEVER heard anyone else say it, and I didnt start watching the Red Green Show until a couple years ago. Its like my favorite dad joke, I just about lost it when I heard it come out of Red's mouth. Although I do remember seeing the show a few times flipping through channels, I never actually watched it, but maybe I picked it up randomly and dont remember.
I'm here in California and just found this show about a month ago. Besides it being hilarious and inventive, I would have loved to be part of the show involved in building some of his contraptions lol
19:20 "Miss you? I wasnt even shooting at you" That has been my goto dad joke for like 15 years. Dont know if I got it from this show, but it sure didnt surprise me to hear him say it!
You know when I was younger I was running a rototiller of my dad’s and it had a manual Engage setup like the one Walter was running. So I did what Walter did and put duct tape around it to keep it going because you hand was cramping from holding it so long. Long story short this duct tape was older and I didn’t expect it to be so strong but when we went to load it in my dads car the engaging lever was still taped and it was causing the rod to be in a weird position and wouldn’t allow the trunk to close. So when when my dad went to adjust the rod, it broke at the end by the motor because the tape was actually so strong it didn’t break instead which was impressive. He was a little mad at me but he took it and had it welded back together.
I've structured my life by two principles 1) "If women don't find you hansom, they should at least find you handy" 2) Keep your stick on the ice, we are all in this together.
Gotta love driving and building and renovating and rebuilding when past age 65 now. Along with the boat trailers has anybody ever wondered on that set what all of the white vans got picked to be on that set? Made the above "New Job In Town" episode look way more like those drivers were all about to find more crescents to park all of those lovely white vans in a new garage next too.
11:44. Dalton: (holding the door) Gentlemen, I'm pleased to present the newly appointed Director of Public Relations for the county of Possum Lake. (Harold comes into the room and the studio audience goes nuts; Mike walks off in disgust and Red stands there in stunned silence)
This would have to be my favourite episode yet, everything just worked, plus being a dog lover the dog wash of course, but the return of Harold, yes I missed him and no I wasn't shooting at him either. Great writing where are shows like this now? You watch until the end and it feels like a 2 minute show.
I really love the dodge shorty van. It reminds me a lot of my daily driver 86 chevy shorty van. Shes not perfect but just like the red green van its really useful and fun
Because Possum Lake is hiring someone for the public relations office, Red, Dalton and Mike fails to get the job and Red's nephew Harold comes back to the show and Walter tries to get his rototiller working, Red Green builds an automatic dog wash, Dwight Cardiff accidentally shoved garbage in the sink, Red Green makes a hovercraft and an easy way on photography and Winston tries to guess the word ambition
You don’t say! Since you brought it up, did you that Peter Wildman, who played wacky bush pilot Buzz Sherwood (seasons 3-7) and was one of the writers of the Red Green Show, was the voice of Mojo from the 90’s X-Men series?
Im thinking red's automated walk through dog wash might have had some success . think it too late to invest in it now though . any current operating in canada or elsewhere ?
I think Harold was by far the most successful at fulfilling the man's prayer. I don't know what he is, but he's not a man. He appears to be the only characters that actually takes all the crap Red say's seriously.
Coincidentally, only a few episodes ago, Red not only used that same photo trick for when traveling to landmarks, but he also made a garbage catapult as opening scenes.
Steve Smith (Red) is actually pretty computer literate and runs the channel. he posted a bunch of videos on youtube awhile back and he made some of his own ads to advertise his new tour he's doing in 2019 and 2020 across Canada and parts the US.

C.J. O'Dell makes you wonder... was your birth so exciting.. was it genuinely planned....
Niko Gagnon What does that even mean??? Is that supposed to be mocking C.J.?

thats awesome info. love it!!
Sweet!
I'm glad Harold is back! I have watched the previous 210 episodes, and the last few just weren't the same without him. Off to watch ep.212
Where was he?

Loved the Handyman Corner callback Dwight gave us, they really do get remembered by Red and the writers!
I just discovered the channel the other day...It's amazing you're still uploading these! Thank you so much!!!!
I always get excited when he says "big big week up at the lodge this week" lol idk why?

I threw out my depressing antidepressants . Red Green show always picks me up .

I love it!! Thanks for sharing this show.. 🙏🏻😌💖
Noticed the Iowa license plate in the background during the word game! Sweeeet
"Thanks, For The Laughs," merci.
I like winstons little commercials! His rhymes are funny!
Love Harold and Bill I wish this show would come back
Pot luck approach to integral compustain
Man playing Harold red greens nephew he would be a great Barney fiffe if they ever do make the Andy Griffith show again
The manwho plays the animal catcher would be that man who plays in the Andy Griffith show the town drunk
When Red sees Harold walk into the Lodge he looked like he just entered the Twilight Zone.

welcome back Harold. the show was just not the same without it's producer/director!

Am I the only woman that loves Red Green?
You have at least one other 😄
Make that 2. 👍
OOH MAKE THAT ONE MORE!! Grew up on this show and I still love it.
_... his wife, Bernice, does, too!_
My mom and I are two more! :D
Love Dwight's voice.

4:46 I think Mike Hammer singing happy birthday song
That's the fastest that Dwight has run in his life up the stairs
Dwight is a guy who thinks working 3 hours a month is too much work.
He's not wrong
Yay - So glad Harold came back :)
I really love the dodge shorty van. It reminds me a lot of my daily driver 86 chevy shorty van. Shes not perfect but just like the red green van its really useful and fun
Lol. Where I live we actually have a mosquito festival.
We do too lol
With how many we have, we should too.
$60,000 CDN back in 2001 would be worth ~$93,000 CDN in 2022. So, not too bad considering the average Mayor in rural Ontario makes $40,000 to $50,000.
I love the episodes with permanent lore
Because Possum Lake is hiring someone for the public relations office, Red, Dalton and Mike fails to get the job and Red's nephew Harold comes back to the show and Walter tries to get his rototiller working, Red Green builds an automatic dog wash, Dwight Cardiff accidentally shoved garbage in the sink, Red Green makes a hovercraft and an easy way on photography and Winston tries to guess the word ambition
yeaaaaaaaa harold is back ...love dwight .
Bang bang... Childhood late night
Look Up Puff-N-Fluff. It reminds me of the auto dog wash

Geer-raaage???? Lol I love the Canadians
3:30 Now that is just evil 😈
I love it!
I still can't believe the guy who plays Dwight was the voice actor for Beast in the 90s X-Men cartoon.
Wow, I didn't know that!
You don’t say! Since you brought it up, did you that Peter Wildman, who played wacky bush pilot Buzz Sherwood (seasons 3-7) and was one of the writers of the Red Green Show, was the voice of Mojo from the 90’s X-Men series?
@@davidekstrand8544with that laugh, it makes total sense!
What type of criminal is Mike that he can't get through that locked lodge door?
Yay! The return of Harold! 🤓❤
Obviously, the rest of the members of Possum Lodge didn't miss Harold at all.
The possum van looks different its not the extended van
The Red Green Helicarrier!
does anybody notice the picture of the house in mag has a swatska greenery.
where did you all come up with these crazy ideas ... to funny
harold's whole schictk is from the legendary jerry lewis .
it would be awesome if you could get duct tape forever on here. Heck I'd be happy with being able to rent it
Look out uncle red Harold is back
Sad to see that Walter (Joel Harris) died in Switzerland in a stunt diving accident.
Best of the best
Is that a moose, Elk or what hoof on Red's desk ? whatever animal , that thing must have been huge scary !
Red Green for ever-turn down for what?!
Im thinking red's automated walk through dog wash might have had some success . think it too late to invest in it now though . any current operating in canada or elsewhere ?
The Donald Trump part is awesome, ambition isn’t the half of it
I like the trees there.🇺🇸🇮🇱
if dwight doesnt bend, then how he did get the double sink to red?
love characters dwight and harold .
Do u think possum lodge is worth fixing we gotta lot work to do

An old Trump joke that is as true then as it is now.. :)
ursaltydog I’m surprised how many trump jokes I’ve heard on this show
He has been a very well-known and public figure since the 80s, the 70s if you're from New York.
I'll bet that was his dog.
Nice dog on the handyman segment. What breed?
Coincidentally, only a few episodes ago, Red not only used that same photo trick for when traveling to landmarks, but he also made a garbage catapult as opening scenes.

Ignorance never settle a question.
Hilarious
Trump sure has a lot of ambition. The man ended up as the most powerful man on the planet!
And "lost" (note quotation marks) to senile old fool who could start another war without really meaning to.
That show was funny
Don't put your stick on the ice.. It get's,,,well,,, stuck!!!!
would be nice to visit Canada travel by train across Canada but Canada don't let people in with a record
Lol this is one of the funniest ones we got a trump mention even ha.
🤣🤣🤣

Nope. :D

I don't know who's more annoying, Mike Hammer or Harold.
@14:48 with Dwight Cardiff. " i'm not big on bendin'...
