I love Scottsdale. I have lived in Old Town for 20 years, near Fashion Square and the area is so walkable. My only complaint is that the area has grown so much, that the traffic is beginning to mirror the traffic is L.A. county.

Scottsdale is why we live in Chandler.

Chandler is a great alternative. Many of the benefits of Scottsdale without some of the issues.

I've lived in North Scottsdale my entire life. It's a terrible, miserable place to live with no redeeming qualities. Tell everyone you know.

I agree... I bought a house in a nice neighborhood around 56th st. and Greenway about 15 years ago. I hate it, and most other people will hate it too. Stay away..

56th Street and Greenway is Phoenix...Try East of Pima and North of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Solid overview. It always cracks me up when news/media uses B roll of the south facing houses on Camelback Mountain to describe the wealth and luxury of Scottsdale/Paradise Valley...those homes have Phoenix addresses.

It is called Snotsdale for a reason.
BY THE WAY, this is just an ad for a realtor!

The land lease is crazy. When I was house shopping in 2018 the house I was looking at had a $700/month land lease.

Please get this video to sll California's we don't want them here. That aside, I built a home in North Scottsdale 15 years ago. It is a resort in itself, there are fantastic restaurants and golf courses of which I frequent. My wife finds all the shopping and spas she needs. I have lived in four states throughout my career and can honestly say this is the place to be.

If you guys want a safe quiet life where you're close enough to the city to get there in less than an hour and have all the necessities nearby as well as some luxeries move to east gilbert or east mesa. I love having lots of businesses and such nearby but hate being overcrowded. I just want to be able to drive to a place and not stress about having a place to park. Also, i want to feel like im safe when i go outside. Even at night. East valley is your answer.

I do agree on it's totally different when you're on vacation than it is when you live there. I moved from Austin to the Phoenix area 5 years ago and it was totally different than what it is when we go and visit family. Let's just say I hated it. Finally, me and my husband decided to come back to Texas cuz it's just not for me. It's more of a vacation and go visit family but for me it's not a place to live

You are right, Scottsdale is not what you think! We lived there for six years and the heat made it one of the most miserable places I’ve ever lived! Why don’t you make a video in July when it’s 115 degrees! From the end of May to the beginning of November it’s 100+ a majority of days! You are literally stuck inside air conditioned buildings for almost six months! We finally moved to Prescott and it’s the best decision we ever made!

Scottsdale is Glendale money with Malibu attitude. Old town has turned into poormans Vegas. Most of the land the " Luxory homes" are built on is just desert. On top of $1000+ month, HOA fees.
    It's JCpenny's wearing a Gucci belt.
