I realized you don't know who I am. It's George from BAYA. You know where I teach!

I have been searching for my first job in architecture in NY for 10 months since I moved to USA, I graduated 1 month before coming here from my country.

Hey! How did you do 5 internships in 8 years? We have one semester dedicated to an internship. For more, I would have to add a semester because architects here don't do internships shorter than 4 months + they usually only do university-obligative internships (because these are the ones they DON'T have to pay minimum wage). So how do you do that many? I just can't add a semester because it's not possible financially and I am afraid that I won't be able to find a job later when I only have done 1 internship.

I had a gap year between undergrad and graduate degree in Amsterdam where I had 2 internships.
