Most expensive toy I ever got was a signed Tony Hawk board. My friends dad got it for me when I was ten and in my prime skateboarding enjoyment. I stopped when I cracked my skull at 12 because my lack of balance after that. That year I got a drum set signed by my favorite drummer of all time, Tommy Lee! Before people ask, he bought the board online from someone and he knew a guy who knew a guy who knew Tommy. I don't know which is valued more though.
I thought this would cover REAL toys. I can have the most valuable POO on earth just by covering it in gold foil and stick some gems in it.
Well, most of them ARE real toys. The Rubix Cube is functional. Technically, the soccerball is functional, albeit heavy and little bounce. The Etch-a-Sketch is also functional as well as the GameBoy, so I'm not quite seeing your point of "real" toys. These just weren't mass produced.

The most expensive thing I've ever gotten currently is the lovely and beautiful Lego Millennium Falcon set number 75105 in 2015!! I'm still waiting on a PS4 or an Xbox One to beat that, or maybe the on the £650 2017 UCS (Ultimate Collector's Series) Millennium Falcon, most expensive Lego set and the biggest in terms of pieces currently ever made!!!

Covering electronic devices with diamonds and precious jewels is really the stupidest way to enhance the value of something pedestrian and will be obsolete in a few months. All you have to do is open the device to see how cheaply it is constructed inside. I thought that they might be more creative like a toy Ferrari that the kid could sit in and drive around the estate the but these things are just stupid things that sit on shelves and are no more fun than a fake one. That slot car set in the race car was pretty cool. That Hover board seemed really dangerous. I imagine that thing snagging on a beer can and tossing the little rug rat ass over teacups head first into a tree trunk. I had better toys when I was a kid, sans the diamonds anyhow.

The Porche racetrack was the best toy on this list, and worth every penny, one minor point, a pacifier is NOT a toy, it’s peace and quiet for a few precious moments for parents, the first toy for most children is usually a cuddly toy or cot mobile, but I don’t think even the richest parents would have one made of gold and diamonds, it would be too heavy for the support and might drop on their precious child.
