Yeah, the bullets represent the Music Billboard’s chart list. They slipped from the previous week, or the lost “a bullet” on the charts. I didn’t know this until a few years ago. This concert must have been before Steve joined the band. Great reaction.

I saw this tour. I liked the two guitar sound; but, Steve Gaines was so great, he had to join.
I never either to very recently, heard Gary in interview that for awhile they quit doin the song because people would lierally give them back their bullets, Gary said & them things stung if they hit you😁😁

My favorites from that were Trust & Every Mother's Son.
Between Ed leaving and Steve coming on. They made it work with just 2 guitars but it still sounds best with 3.

Over time, this song has probably become my top Skynyrd jam. If I ever sang karaoke, this is the song.

If you listen close you will hear Ronnie is sick here. Cold/flu or something had him congested and he still knocks it out. Can't hit every note because he is sick but Ronnie was THE SHOW MUST GO ON kind of artist

"Am I Losin'" is a song about losing a friendship over the gain of money and fame, but it was the friend who had changed... Not the one who found fame.
In case you didn't know the bullets he's referring to where the ones on the music charts showing if the song is raising or going up the charts.
Every song this man sings is like a testimony.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is my favorite band I just come across this guy doing this I seen one of the comments was cry for the bad man that is a good song one of my favorites is the needle and the spoon check that out people really need to listen to that today

Skynyrd live is usually pretty dame good. You've got to do some songs off of One More from the Road. This Winterland version of Gimme Back My Bullets is good, but you'll appreciate the guitars on the studio version when you play it.
One more from the road has Steve Gaines which is an upgrade. This concert is just a couple months before he joined.

You should do another review of the studio version. This live version is cool, but comparatively, it's the difference between listening to it through a coffee can and a high quality stereo system.

Great selection, if you get the opportunity check out the studio version. A bit of a difference than the live version, a little bit better in my opinion. Listen on your own time and then come back with the version you think is best. Man I love the channel! Keep on keepin on bro.!

Stufio version is better than this one. I love this winderland show but the studio version is thicker, ronnie's voice is better and gary is a bit more precise (i'm a guitar player so i catch things).
