- Bike was turning off when out on test rides. The kickstand switch was killing the engine because the kickstand springs are weak.
Ultimately, this bike will be a track bike so no kickstand will be needed. I show you how I completely removed the kickstand switch by performing a bypass.

Quick question so before you fixed that would the bike able to turn on, in neutral but then when you would switch it to first it would kill it ? Cuz that’s what’s happening to me and I think it’s that
@@fierce_titan5148 Yes, the bike would turn on in neutral. The problem with mine was when if the bike would travel down the road, any bump would disturb the tight connection. Combination of loose kickstand spring and the push switch being so old and dirty.
@@paule815 oh okay yea the problem with mine is it cranks perfect at neutral and starts fine just with I kick it to 1st gear it turns off automatically
Did cleaning it not work I’m having the same problem but don’t wanna remove it I’m think about buying new kickstand sensor
Cleaning it did not help. I would recommend a new kickstand spring and bending the tab a little. Last resort, delete it like I did.
