Love your work, but here is an idea... drill hole in middle of bike brace bracket, attach with this single location and create a swivel action so you can turn wheel to get axel attached then straighten for transport.... Make sense?

Nice car, I bought two. In 2013 and now I own 2019 .. It is still produced in the Middle East. In modern versions 2022 with minor updates. But his only drawback is its narrow space.. and the poor quality of the plastic materials and the weakness of acceleration.. But it is an enjoyable car and worthy of the acquisition.

Hey, nice setup! Would you consider to make the platform higher for more space under? Metal fork adapter is versatile and solid, but you can make it another way. If you've ever seen new Rock Shox forks out of the box there's plastic base or platform (actually idk how to call it in English). Same as your adapter. The idea is you don't need to put axle through. You just press your axle and it clips in. Fast and easy. Maybe not so solid on bumpy roads. But this should be customizable, like adding velcro strap or something. Cheers from Russia!
If you can find the link of the fork adapter I'd love to check it out! As far as the height, it's the perfect height for me to sit upright comfortably. Any higher my head would hit the ceiling. But if I wasn't using it as a bed, then I'd definitely make it taller.

Nothing at all, I just need a secondary option to sleep on long road trips when I can't pop the tent up.

I have a Honda Element now!! But may want an FJ cruiser in the future. I use my element for camping, this would definitely work also!
I would have used wood screws, instead of the nails.
