Infinity bows actually CAN use tipped arrows. They have to be higher up in the order of your inventory, and it does consume the arrow just like a mending bow would
It is well worth taking time to use tools such as Cal's Enchantment Ordering tool. In the video the Helmet cost 43 levels to enchant but Cal's method would cost only 27 levels. The tool is REALLY easy to use with a drop down to choose the item to be enchanted, which then gives a list of possible enchantments for that item and you simply click a box for the level you want.
* turtle helmet gives you an extra 10 seconds of water breathing. And you get scute for the turtle helmet when a baby turtle grows up into a full size adult turtle, they drop 1 scute.

The only reason I don’t love fire aspect for killing all mobs is near the start of the game, killing zombies may be the only way to get an uncooked potato and also fight endermen.. it makes it tougher with them disappearing constantly
*Quick fix* for your bee farm chunk boarder issue..... move the redstone and dispenser to the left of that last farm so they are both in the same chunk
Honestly I haven’t used the enchantment table for so long and it’s actually difficult to get the too expensive status for gear idk how people are running into this problem you don’t even need a “correct” way for these books… just combine 2 enchants into 1 book and repeat 2 more enchants into 1 book.. you don’t need any correct way just literally do that, the most expensive I get is like a little over lv 20 req, and that’s only because boots have like 8 enchants… and still not close to “too expensive”
@@shawntropilis4558 likely if they are starting with level 1 enchants and trying to get to level 5. That circumstance could end up in the too expensive category
Its the same. Its dependant on how many times the book or item is cycled through the anvil. Exactly the same. You have to enchant through higher level books that do not need to be combined.
I like Infinity bows. All I have to do is combine it with a regular full bow when the durability is low and I have a new full durability enchanted infinity bow. I never really use the bow enough to the point where it gets too expensive.
I think infinite is a better enchanment for bow in early-mid game because you don't have a quick way of getting arrow While mending is good for bow in late game where you have a large amount of them(because of farm and stuff). Also 1 arrow take the same space as a stack(64) arrrow
It might just be the Skyblock in me, but Fletchers are one of the best early game Villager traders; Sticks and Arrows at first level trades make Infinity a bit unnecessary.
@@birdpersTV that’s the problem with servers though. They are always running even when nobody is on so they don’t ever have an accurate number of days on them.
I also use a mending bow but, I always carry multiple stacks of arrows because I’m often traversing the deep dark and don’t want to be underprepared for the Warden.
Ummm you definitely can use tipped arrows with infinity, it's just that the infinity enchantment is not applied to those arrows. So you waste a bunch of durability for nothing. That last segment is exactly why I avoid dealing with villagers, that looked sooooo painful.
Shovel only needs lvl 4 efficiency as every block it mines naturally is instant mined with lvl 4. and your way of upgrading is almost the worst way, second only to the 'one big book' method you mentioned. You should, generally speaking, aim to enchant via two books. So split the two most expensive enchants and then add the cheapest to each of those.
I actually had a librarian glitch on me. He had unbreaking 3 so I traded him to lock it in. Then I moved his lecturn and it reset his trade. He instead got quick charge and that's the one that locked in.
I make designated swords for my farms, bane of arthropods is on my spiderfarm sword. One hit kills everytime, vs two shots with sharpness. Also I've only had one infinity bow break. Mending=useless 😋
Uh Wind Burst gives you the wind charge effect and throws you back up in the air to do multiple high damage hits. There’s not a knock back affect on the mobs
I personally like to use infinity bow but keep mending as a back up - it's nice to not have to think about arrows, however they seem to break when i need them most, so i make the most of both 😂
Frost walker if you're in the nether or even if you are doing deep sea diving you can walk on magma blocks without dealing damage granted crouching works but i feel like i don't want to always have to crouch when dealing with magma blocks
I would teach that it is smarter to enchant the piece first to try and get as many of the enchantments you want on it as possible before using books, it makes it even cheaper to enchant
If you want to name your gear, do it before adding any enchanments and it'll only cost you 1 level. Doing it later will still only cost one level but that cost is added to the total enchantment cost making it increasingly more expensive due to a prior work penalty being assessed.
Hey Prowl, love your videos. Got a question for you if you see this... how did you get the Trading Helper resource pack to show up under MY PACKS? I've been trying to add it.
