In the playlist video 1 is the walk through, video 2 is the base album build the following videos customize the album for the project with interactive elements and designer paper. Additionally we have a playlist for “Base Album Builds” if you just want to build the base and do your own creative work. Most projects have a video per page so you don't have to figure out where a page starts on any given video.(Be sure to subscribe and you'll be notified when we release new projects. Daphne
This is awesome, Daphne! I remember going to a class in about 2005 to make an exploding box album, which was done completely with cardstock. I've still got it and I still love it, but it's no way as sturdy as yours is. Where I lived back then, chipboard wasn't really "a thing", but it has come into its own during the last 10-12 years - so I'll definitely be making a chippy exploding box album. 😉😊 Many thanks also for the tips and links to the gentleman's channel. Love the ease of the box construction. But have to say, covering the lid was a bit much for me. I love that yours looks so professional, but it is a lot. I need to see if I can find another way to do it. I cannot wait to see the rest of the box! Love the way you did the hinges. So easy and perfect way to do it.

I couldn’t see how that hinge was going to fit I had so little left on the side, I couldn’t imagine it holding! So I built again! I had one extra hinge! Twice!! I hope I have it right now lol.😉maybe im too old for this!

I wish i had a piece that was big enough when I started - I'm sure it was much nicer.

The inserts should be 1/4 inch smaller than the pocket page 5 3/4 x 5 3/4.
So the lid is 6 3/4 by 6 3/4 and the box sides are 6 1/2 by 6 1/2 correct???
The box sides and bottom are 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 the lid is 6 3/4 x 6 3/4

yes the gusset is 1/2 inch and the hinge is two 1/2 inch scores joined to make a 1/2 inch hinge. Daphne
