OMG! I absolutely love this box, I love making explosive boxes but this one with all of those waterfalls for photos just blew my mind! I will definitely make alot of them. You are a genius! I love love love this you could use this for a wedding gift or anniversary gift/ card but I think this stands on its own as a great gift. And places where the photos go you could just put quotes or saying embossed or hand written of some memories that you shared. Awesome awesome awesome. Genius. Maymay this is a 'one-off' to be sure! Can you give a big thank you to Tabitha for her work on the blog because what she had provided for us crafters was so clear and concise. I wrote everything down that she had provided into my crafters reference cook before I watched your video tutorial. As you were putting the box together I could then write myself instructions piece by piece so that I could easily put this project together at another time. But WOW, WOW, WOW what a box! It will hold 19 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 " photos in the centre and THEN 16 photos on the waterfalls! This is certainly better than a photo album. When my grandson turned 1 year old, I put a selection of photos from birth to 1 year into a frame for our room. But I had so many other photos I wanted to use that I got a 2 large papermache shaped B for his name Brooklyn and I printed off al the photos we had taken in black and white (1 x 1") and used modge podge to adhere these to the B shape to create a montage. I love looking at this because you can see every aspect of his life from birth to 1 year old. I was wondering what to do in April for some of the photos from 1 to 2 years old. Now I know - I am going to make one of these Maymay, thank you so, so much. :O)

This is amazing. I saw this and absolutely had to sit down and make one for my daughter! She's been printing off photos from facebook and her phone and making collages lately. This will make a wonderful Christmas gift (even if I did use left over Halloween paper. Halloween is her favorite holiday!!) I'm thinking of making one for my mother and youngest daughter too.

I just love the photos box. I had one thought you my not thought of. Put a hole on the box top and put the Brad through the top to secure the bow to the box.

I would like to make one just like yours if you don't mind but I would need the name of all material you used in this particular one, please! Can I ask how you add the photos to the waterfall slider? Do you cut them to cover top and bottom or crop them to fit on the bottom only? Or so you fold them to spread as a full photo across each fold out section?

For the Photo Explosion Box how many pieces of 12 x 12 cardstock do you need to complete the box and how many pieces of 12. X 12 patterned paper do you need. I started the project but ran into not having enough paper of each kind to complete the full project. Thank you!
