If you're paying $75 for a LV fake, then you may be funding the baddies. If you're paying $400 for a simple leather bag and $2500 for a hand stitched italian leather dupe that looks like a luxury brand, then what's wrong with buying products that do a better job at producing the same items in good working conditions without the over-inflated "luxury" overhead? This guy is TRYING to be Tim Ballard from Sound of Freedom, but falling incredibly short. While he makes a very convincing *emotional* argument, where are the facts? Statistics? Studies? Paper trail? Give me video evidence of children (or adults) working in subpar conditions making only high quality Chanel replicas? Clearly, trafficking and forced labor are evil and should be stopped but this guy is not presenting an argument that was fully thought through. I can't help but compare between the fake sunglasses that he references and the sunglasses the average person buys at Walmart for an even lower price. As long as you're doing your research before buying from any company, retailer, etc then what harm is being done? His argument is simply, "If you don't trust the big brands like WALMART, or LVMH to do all the research for you then you're funding the baddies". Am I not allowed to question "legitimate" fashion brands like H&M, Shein and GAP? All of them are well known for their poor labor practices overseas. Just because you buy from a label does not mean you are doing your research. There is a clear difference between the "medical bankruptcy website" types of counterfeiters versus a super replica manufacturer who has poached artisans from the genuine company for their knowledge, experience and expertise, while also paying fair wages for labor and using high quality materials which are reflected in their price. Why would I buy from a luxury store like Chanel or conglomerate like LVMH who do not have ethical business practices either? The way they not only treat their boutique employees who DO generally make a fair wage, but then also the factory workers who manufacture their products especially do not get treated well. What's the advantage when there are smaller factories making quality products with real materials and using fair labor practices, while the 'legitimate' brands are not even committing to the same minimum practices? Also, I'm sick of hearing the racist "everything in China is a sweatshop" argument. So ignorant. Look at everything in your home or office - 90% of the things around you were manufactured and probably assembled in China. Does that mean everything you own is a product of forced labor? As opposed to the actual companies they are copying who ARE ACTUALLY using child labor, provide kickbacks to governments officials (for import export via lobbying) and obliquely fund organised crime....
How are the companies that are being copied funding organized crime? I was not aware of any luxury brands providing direct funding to organized crime. And he has actually cited a few examples where the proceeds from the sale of counterfeit goods went DIRECTLY to funding terrorist attacks. So accusing him of not being direct is unfounded.
Every country has at least some labor laws, so legitimate businesses are required to follow those laws or face penalties. But counterfeiters do not have to follow the same labor laws as legitimate comapnies.

What is the exact ratio of counterfeiters who are funding terrorists compared to those who do it to feed their families? What percentage of child labour is employed in producing fakes compared to child labour producing authorised fashion brands?
Let's say that he's 100% a corporate shill. That may be true. But are the facts and numbers that he provide not factual? Nothing he is saying sounds unbelievable. Other perspective: Should copyright be less strict, so there would be more legal ways of producing cheap "copies" when there is a big demand for it. is the damage those terrorists Make as bad as they benefit poor families get good deals on shoes and other clothes?? Just putting it out there but I have no side
lol Could you not simply called this video: "How you are a terrorist if you dont buy North American products" Because of the terror regime USA and their terror ways of forcing other nations, it is often difficult to buy other things then the bad quality that is made in USA. This is often because USA force poor countries to not be able to make deals with other countries. Cuba is a case most people know about. But this is also the case for the rest of the world, the Latin American countries know this very well, and have still extreme poverty because of this. So dont give money to Red Cross, you will help the poor much better if you buy something that actually was made in a poor country and most important of all, something that is NOT made in USA.. ;) Buy fake, it will cost you much less, and you will help some poor people and not some american millionair. Make sure it is NOT real, in 99,9% of the time you will be very pleased with your "fake" product. And remember that your "fake" product is very real as long as it work as it should, it just have a more sensible prize on it :)

I agree to some point but how can I take this seriously if the guy speaking about it is working at Tommy Hilfiger?it really sounds like he's telling people not to buy replicas and buy branded items so the brand can make more money. Also technically the consumers are not directly funding Terrorism or gangs if they don't buy straight from the source. Do people even buy stuff, anymore? Everything is free, besides basic utilities. It's all software and information. Easy to come across for free, both legally and illegally.
Wow the comments are full of people who can't handle the truth
Ahh capitalism. Glorious
/s
Yeah. The only time the large corps want a regulated maket, when someone cuts their profits.
Thx u for telling us
Um yes and no
Seriously? The answer is simple put down the absurd profit margin on original stuff and more people will go for the original handbags. Oh wait but then the brand's wouldn't be so elite and luxurious. Also what about the original brands that, just like the fake ones, produce their products in oriental factories where workers are not paid a much as they should be?
Sorry but NO not everyone buy fake stuff
Skip to 8 minutes for any kind of actual examples. They last all of 30 seconds.

Could you not simply called this video: "How you are a terrorist if you dont buy North American products"
Because of the terror regime USA and their terror ways of forcing other nations, it is often difficult to buy other things then the bad quality that is made in USA.
This is often because USA force poor countries to not be able to make deals with other countries. Cuba is a case most people know about.
But this is also the case for the rest of the world, the Latin American countries know this very well, and have still extreme poverty because of this.
So dont give money to Red Cross, you will help the poor much better if you buy something that actually was made in a poor country and most important of all, something that is NOT made in USA.. ;)
Buy fake, it will cost you much less, and you will help some poor people and not some american millionair.
Make sure it is NOT real, in 99,9% of the time you will be very pleased with your "fake" product.
And remember that your "fake" product is very real as long as it work as it should, it just have a more sensible prize on it :)
Buy American.
Theres a different between cheaper off-brand and counterfeit guys, at least keep that in mind before you make your straw man attacks.
I am big fan of not only you but also all of your family. I am watching your each and every vlog & like, sharing your video's to my friends and family members I am from pune. Please convey my Namskar to Aai, Baba, aaji. ALL THE BEST FOR your achievement, future plans. Best wishes for deep life because I submitted both channels. & IMP Lots of love to "Deepika bakes "☺️
Get serious!
He makes supporting international terrorism seem cool.
Wth? So many loopholes in his so-called research
Vechain is solving this with blockchain technology.
E.g. : You buy a rep handbag from a shop. The middle man(shop) bought the handbags first,so they directly fund the company's.
If you want to buy Reps, buy from a trusted seller, that you know don't do this kinda stuff, educate yourself on Reddit.
I love his voice. It's so intimidating.❤️
Erm. That’s how half of London sounds...
Yeaaahh Braaahh If his voice is *intimidating* then Kim Jun Yun is the leader of human rights
Hmm. Not a very bright Ted talk
Let's shame the poor some more--at home and abroad--in support of capitalism, because Anglo-America.
