I understood this reference. During the concept of Gen 3, the beta design for Latias was overdesigned. They used some of its attributes to make Blaziken

Let's say that concept was a thing in the games, I would LOVE to see gag defusions where one half is 90% of the pokémon and the other is just the -Kyur- leftovers.

I think Silvally would be an interesting Defusion, because its already sorta a fusion.
You could probably make 4 different Pokemon out of it when accounting the fin, body, claws and head.
In the same vein, it would be cool to see more art of defused SwSh fossils!
I think my favorite part about Coballion’s decision is that it looks like someone could make the argument that Coballion has never been seen before and the person who saw it actually just saw Shakespear riding Goldenoble.

It’s actually been bugging me since DL launched Sevens that RoaRomin is a cousins duo who share a punk rock vocalist and they gave the girl a “hangry” adjective: but one’s on a pet. Did they somehow copy the homework? Was Hangry that popular around the very late 2010s into 20s?

This sounds like a good concept for a 4 Artists video, imo. Maybe something like defusing pokémon and having others guess what pokémon it is. Possibly a bit too simple, though.
A great idea, though I agree it'd probably work better with a secondary parameter, like losing one defining characteristic from the original Pokémon - colour, type, evo stage...
Honestly, that's where you're wrong. Pokemon Fusions NEVER go out of style, especially now that Pokemon Infinite Fusion has created a renaissance of sprite art and creativity.

I think de-fusions of Dragapult or Mimikyu could be a lot of fun to see.
I think Hydreigon would be an interesting diffusion due to the dragon tank but also the hydra/Japanese monster side

I once had the idea of separating Nidoran into a rabbit and something spiky and poisonous (lionfish maybe?)
Alternately separating Mew into a fetus and a jerboa.
That is a GREAT IDEA, I would love to see Gardevoir or perhaps Ceruledge
Maybe the armor just becomes its own thing, like a possessed suit of armor powered by the remaining ghostly fires

It looks as though that Shakespear could ride Goldenoble like Calyrex and then over time they fused together.
This is unironically my favorite concept when it comes to pokémon and it's rarely ever done anywhere. There was like one person on Tumblr who did really really good Pixel art and then I never saw their art again and so seeing this uploaded only 2 weeks ago was AWESOME
I'd love to see a spiritomb de-fusion! Maybe an ordinary rock-type and an evil ghost? Or something relating to it being 1000 souls locked up?
It just splits into the Odd Keystone and 1008 diffrent, small Ghost/Dark type Pokémon lmfao
a cool idea could be to defuse pokemon and then refuse them into a different pokemon, kind of creating a branched evolution for the fusion

I wasn't sure about this idea at first, but the execution is top notch! 👌 These all really do look like they could be their own Pokemon. Archeops is my favorite fossil Pokemon as well, and its de-fusions are probably my favorite of this bunch, but its close. They're all winners.
For others; Empoleon, Mr. Rhyme, Revavroom, and Dhelmise.
If you do this again you have the perfect opportunity to do this with the galar fossils

The Defusions remind me of an old idea I had for a potential Pokemon fan story: What if Pokemon were once completely normal animals that were made into what we see today?
I love how your take on defusions ended up as two fairly normal/grounded designs put together or one normal with another more fantastical one. It would bridge the gap of how Pokemon are everywhere like animals but crazy fantasy creatures as well.
Now this again but with 3 other artists. I really want to see either Moxie or MrBonnyJohn make their versions

This concept is super fun and I love the individual lore bits. It almost seems like even the defusion's lore pieces together to create the personality and behaviors of the original Pokémon.

Maybe related: All the eeveelutions look like a fusion of Eevee with something: a fish, a plant, etc.
Imagine what the other things must be, such that the fusion with Eevee gives the Eeveelutions.

The title just have me the idea that you could separate the top and bottom half of a Pokemon and draw in a new design in its absence
Funny how the first Pokémon you unfuse is Blaziken as it and Latias/Latios can be seen as the first official Pokémon unfusions if you've seen their concept art.
I know its been done by A LOT of people already, BUT… I would LOVE to see Ron’s take on the Galarian Fossil Pokemon.

I'd like to see a corviknight defusion that splits into a flying/dark exorcist raven and a steel/ghost possessed suit of armor, where the fusion implies that the raven banishes the ghost and fuses with the armor to become corviknight.
This is extra cool when you realize that Pokemon basically already did this Latios and Blaziken. Great video as always!
I'd like to see this done with monotyped Pokémon, could be even harder since a lot of them aren't two different concepts mixed together, but I'm sure there are some that it could work with!

If diffusion Pokémon was a actual thing, (but only for starters) it would bring up my theory that all starters are just naturally selected Pokémon that were bred for a purpose depending on the region they’re from which could be the reason why you rarely see them in the wild, but it’s just a theory

A jester hyena that is small and puppy like. (Normal Fairy)
A large trickster hyena that is very strong and I guess evil (Dark Fairy)
Jaggedire almost looks like the true form of the "Draco" half of the Galar fossils!

The halves of Cobalion are definitely my favorite. Shakespear's name is also incredible, I really loved it
Ok, so I had this idea for how to split Mimikyu into two pokemon! So the cloth looks like a rodent with red circles for cheeks, and the tail stick looks like a lightning bolt, so I made it an electric type even though Mimikyu isn’t electric type. I call it Pikachu, because it sounds like Mimikyu! Then, to represent the cloth and ghost type, I thought of this possessed rag pokemon, I call them Shuppet.
Did you know, the consept art of Bleziken is a fusion of blkaxiken and latias/latios.

This was so cool! I’d watch a part 2 for sure! To join in on everybody suggesting ideas, how about Spiritomb? It’s both souls and a rock. Only memory I have of the rock being characterized is PMD2, after you beat it in its boss battle. “Eep! R-run away!” I always found the rock kind of charming.

You could do a defuse of sceptile and make a Christmas tree pokemon and a lizard one. Maybe a defuse of probopass, making a nose pokemon and a metal pokemon with tiny flying versions of itself on it. (I think probopass was the last one?) Last suggestion, dito.

I've been wanting this type of video ever since I saw the beta Blaziken+Latias concept art.
Well I really wanted to see Scolipede defused when it showed briefly in the video, but it’s also a pretty clean design (only thing I could think of defusing would be the front half vs. the back).
But I’d really love to see defused ancient paradox mons, like Slitherwing, which gives off bug slammed into dragon vibes
Here's an idea! For a bit of extra challenge, and to make it more accurate to Pokemon Fusions, you should split the name between the two halves as well, since Fusions typically have half of each name!
This would change the design, as with Blaziken, for example, you'd need to split the "Blaz" and "iken", meaning either the chicken would have to be the fighting type so "Blaz" could be used in the other ones name, and vice versa, or you'd have to come up with a new interpretation for the sound (for example, if the chicken half is Fire type and has the "Blaz" part of the name, you'd have to come up with a way to justify putting the "iken" sound at the end of the fighting type halfs name (and vice versa).

Given Blaziken is based on the real life shamo chicken, which already looks like a little man covered in feathers, Blaziken itself being so humanoid isn't so strange.
