The view from Näsin puistometsä towards the town is spectacular! Näsinmäen hautausmaa is interesting place. I checked about J.L. Runeberg and found that his son Walter Runeberg made a sculpture of his father in Esplanadi park in Helsinki.Then even remembered that you had a several walks in this area and I saw the sculpture without to know about the story behind it! It was nice to see this walk and to know more about the history of Finland. It seems " Winter is coming" can be said on this day:))
Nice you liked the walk on Näsin puistometsä. First time visiting this old cemetary. Didn't remember that about Walter Runeberg! And yeah, this was the day it begun snowing in southern Finland. Seems like I captured the first snowflakes here :)
